Hannity and Colmes today had an activist from the DC Inaugural address that was making really good arguements with Hannity and so Hannity switched to the non-activist guest who supported Hannity's views and started associating the "stone throwing activist" as Democrats, is there anyway to regulate this stupidity beside mute and turning the channel? Is there a legal recourse? It is just propaganda, these guys are tools.

P.S. I don't like either party.

Sure there is legal recourse. Here in good ole' America, anyone can sue over virtually anything. You or anyone else wants to sue or seek legal recourse over being called a "stone throwing activist," by all means, please do. I highly doubt it will get anyhere in a court of law, but hey, the ACLU is always a viable option.

That all said, my best advice would be to mute the channel/show, or simply click your way to something more to your liking. Hannity and Colmes is not a show that suits everyone's tastes. As for watching propaganda, there's always the alternatives of CNN, the BBC, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, CBS, and the likes, but then again, propaganda is a relative term anyhow, isn't it?

I'm talking about the slanted reporting not the specific comment. It's a subjective term for the sake of argueing which is what you love to do.

What did you expect? This is fox news we are talking about here.

Remember this is the same network on election day showed results of Bush leading by more than 100 points, when he wasn't, until the results were clear.

The question is, how can we change it, is there legal action we can take to revoke their license to broadcast?

I don't think we can. Afterall this is a free country and they are part of it.

Sorry no can do.

The best action is to not watch their channel, afterall they are based on us, aren't they?

I kinda like MSNBC myself. They IMO seem to be a bit more balanced than the others. CNN leans to the Left and FOX leans to the right, MSNBC seems to offer both sides.

As for Prince not liking either party, I suggest he try others, Like the Libertarians.

The media is controlled by the NWO or Power Control Group or whatever you want to call it. Have you been paying attention to the news over the past many years?? They have been pro-republican for a very long time. The only reason Clinton won in 1992 was because Bush, Sr. was an idiot and his VP was a borderline retard. The whole nation was damn scared that if Bush SR. croaked, a borderline retard would be running the country.

Did you see Sr. after he puked in Japan? He looked like a freaking corpse. So Clinton, the opportunist saw his spot and the rest is history!!

Well, at least CNN isn't owned by a registered Democrat. ran by a registered democrat, or all hosts registered democrats. Unlike Fox News, who is owend, ran and all hosts(except one, ooooo) registered republicans. The Fox News "fair and balanced" is balanced if you have 10 people on the right side of the see saw and 4 in the middle and one on the left. Also, the "Dark Knight" of the republican party was hired to FIRE every democrat, from host to janitor to clerk at Fox News. So no wonder they are biased. I use to like watching Bill, but well, sex offender, nutcase, registered republican yet says he is an independent, bye bye Bill, go CNN or MSNBC.

Edit. Also, ATSNN is a great source since it is neither left or right.

FNC has no license to revoke, it's a cable company and not regulated by the FCC.

Hannity & Colmes is a Op/Ed opinion show and everyone watching knows Hannity is a Republican conservative and Colmes is a Democrat liberal. This is not the slanting of hard news, like the New York Times does with its front page stories.

The best way to get to FNC! Organize a Boycott of their sponsors.
Get in Rupert Murdoch's deep pockets.

Yes please boycott the sponsors. Since CNN and NBC both now advertise on FOX it would be a great idea.............

PS. Saying CNN is not owned by a "registered" democrat is just silly. One of the loudest screaming liberals of all time TED TURNER started CNN and the current CEO makes TED look like Rush limbaugh.........

I am confused as to why people claiming to be pro-freedom and rights would clamor to shut down a television station simply because they are on the right and you are on the left.

How interesting.

Most interesting. Free speech to liberals means pornography and the government funding photographers taking pictures of crucifixes dipped in a bucket of urine, but not politically diverse speech nor freedom of the press -- the original meaning of the 1st Amendment.

IMHO there is a journalistic responsibility that needs to be present in all programming that is labelled "news". This would include a systematic means of determining facts and a presentation of those facts without an over-riding political agenda. None of this is present in the Fox programming I see.

Skin The Fox's mission is good:

"In 1996, Fox News began broadcasting extreme right propaganda labeled "fair and balanced" reporting.

Fox "News" today is little more than an advertising arm of the current White House administration. With a clear intent : disseminate false information to support a government administration that came to power under questionable circumstances; maintain a government administration that remains in power through more questionable circumstances; disseminate false and misleading information to the American People to support and maintain that current [and questionable] government administration.

We, the American People, will no longer tolerate or support advertising or political propoganda in the guise of "news." We will no longer tolerate or accept the brainwashing of America. We will no longer tolerate or support any sponsor who financially supports or contributes to Fox News' continued and mis-labeled "journalistic" practices."

I would like the mission even better if the word propaganda was spelled the same way twice.

I feel the same about MSNBC they seem to make the biggest attempt to try to be some where in the middle. People always harp on FOX for being so far on the right But IMO CNN is just as far on the left.

Outfoxed is a fake-umentry in the style of Michael Moore, for example they put in lots of cuts of Sean Hannity counting the days until George W. Bush is re-elected before the election but fail to include scenes of Alan Colmes counting down until John Kerry is elected president. They alternated every day of the week in reality.
