1. Road closures (Airline and Old Hammond and Tara in all directions).
2. Asking people not to protest. Stay indoors.
3. 3 dead, 2 critical, 1 fair condition. Thinking the dead are from sheriff and BRPD, not sure of who from where. ETA: 3 BRPD shot...2 dead. 3 Sheriffs shot...1 dead. All had kids.
4. Addis police (based on a description of two men in black going into a Walmart, buying new clothes and changing into them, then leaving in a car with Texas plates) stopped two suspects currently in Port Allen at state police HQ being questioned by stateys and FBI.
5. Started when cop was in convenience store and a woman came in yelling there was a masked man outside with a gun. Cop ran out. Shooting started. Woman and the female clerk being questioned, of course.
6. They were reporting that one suspect was killed but haven't mentioned this for a while. ETA: Presser confirmed one suspect killed.
7. A few false names released, one from some Anonymous name on Twitter of a white man in glasses.
8. No descriptions of shooters available. Most witnesses saying shooters were masked in all black and looked military.
9.. Shots reported fired at Cortina (spelling?) Mall but police investigation could not ascertain if shots were fired.
10. No active shooter situation currently.
11. Press conference at 3pm Baton Rouge time.
12. ETA: LA State Police lead agency.


Also hearing but unconfirmed that suspects may be from Missouri.

Someone said the Sovereign Citizens movement may be linked? I don't see how this could be a possible benefit to them in any way. That just doesn't add up, IMO.

It's highly doubtful. They could put the question to rest if they showed us a picture of the dead shooter they killed.

Not really, if you think about it (regarding the picture idea) There's some hardliner white people backing BLM, too. I wouldn't write off whackjob SJW whites deciding to take up the witch hunt. At this point, it's just a license to kill LEOs for those inclined with an axe to grind.

Killing police officers isn't going to fix anything, it will only make it worse. It shouldn't be that difficult to understand that point.

It seems that sitting back and taking in what is happening is beyond some people. The event overcomes the ramifications. It is all about the immediacy and not at all about what it means.

Like I said ... highly doubtful. Sovereign Citizens just wanna be left alone. You're gonna have to provide them directly to get 'em to start a shooting event with LE and then it's still highly doubtful ... because they want to be Sovereign not dead patriots.
