This one is easy. It stinks to high heaven of a deal made between Trump and the GOP.

"We will support and endorse you, but only if you let us pick the VP."

Uneducated angry white men won't be enough. He's going to need other groups if he really wants to win but he doesn't want to anyway.

Pense....really.....The GOP convention is going to be a cluster**** and will probably sink the RNC for years to come. Good job Donald, you just assured Clinton the presidency.

The debates will do the same thing to Donald/Pense that they did to McCain/Palin.....

I can't wait....

Must be a coincidence that we heard the exact same thing when Trump became the GOP nominee. And you would have said this exact same thing had he chosen Newt or Christie as well.

That's true, Trump had other choices.....or die he?

I'm going with Gov. Gary Johnson...that Trump is a Pu$$y and bent over for the RNC in a misguided attempt at salvaging the House and Senate.

It's showtime....Bring in the clowns!

This seems like 100% GOP establishment's pick to me, not Trump's.
I will like to think that.

I'm an independent that has been excited about Trump - I really like him. He's smart, strategic, and I think he's fairly moderate.

Pence ruins Trump's chance of getting the "POT" vote, it won't help him with women, or independents, or anyone that's not super religious or anti-gay. I really don't know how he made this choice, and frankly feel betrayed.

Right now I feel like congratulating Christians on electing Hillary Clinton.
I'm looking at Johnson now. He's not polling so low it is totally hopeless.

The only way Pence is worth a vote is if he flips on nearly every issue he has taken a stance on in the past

Which would make him even more unworthy of votes. If he sticks to his guns, I am willing to see how the rest of the campaign goes. If he starts flip flopping on issues to appear "anti establishment" then I don't think I'll be able to vote for that. I don't agree with, well, nearly anything he says.. but I'll take honesty and conviction over Hillary, who has zero respect for honesty and no convictions to speak of.

I'm also less concerned with Trump's VP pick than Hillary's, considering she could keel over and die any day now from her medical issues.

Trump has already had a couple of assassination attempts on his life though, and no doubt tons of threats.

What has this got to do with Pense as his VP choice. Do you suspect Pense of something?

Trump critics would be saying the same exact things no matter who he chose.

The VP slot only has 3 functions.

1. Bring in votes the president would not normally get.

2. Be an echo chamber for the Potus.

3. In case of emergency break glass.

That's IT.

VP has no real power.

Ok I just caught a headline. Is Trump really asking if he can back out of his pick?

Well I was starting to warm to Trump.

There were plenty of others for him to pick.

It was because of the disastrous Neocon policy the US public dumped the Repulicans in the first place and voted in your currnet baffoon in chief.

Trump needed to pick something fresh and removed from this administration and the last.

During this run? I never heard of any attempts.
Oh except for the crazy English kid who never got near him.
Was there another?

Well if we want to play the blame game.

Go back further to when FDR got in to bed with Saudi Arabia.

Ironically the last time Republicans were 'isolationists'.

Source? I'm gonna see what I can find, but it would make sense if he gets enough backlash from everywhere.
