YAh splicing can be lots of fun. I had a bad one once, had to go through every splice.. It was a pain, but found and fixed the problem... Lots of fun!!

I went to post again and got 'stuck', and haven't been able to get unstuck, not even to read the posts or anything.

But I felt I could maybe try right now, and I seem to be doing it!

Guess what! I'm not an idiot! I went out and saw that my friend had spliced some wires together but it didn't look quite right. There are green, green and white stripe, orange, orange and white stripe, blue, blue and white stripe, brown, and brown and white stripe. He had the green and green and white stripe wires all together and same for all the others. Stripes with solids. I took them all apart and did them each individually. It works! Hurray!

My grandfather was born ion Turkey at the base of Mount Ararat. His great uncle was minister of finance for all of Turkey. We got out in 1910 when things got hot for Armenians. The Ottoman were religious violent muslims. After they were ousted, the Turks enjoyed a more secular government and some democracy. Its been creeping back into the religious side, and most Turks probably dont want that. I dont care much for Erdogan. I hope people stay calm and there isnt needless bloodshed
