This is gonna catch on! We might be the first but I don't think we'll be the last, this will give other countries confidence!

This is what happens when you take the piss for too long! The EU only has itself to blame!

I'll have to find the British community (if there is one) here in Chicago and go give random hi-fives tomorrow.

Great Britain has been a member of the EU since 1973 people !

The problem now is that Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland voted strongly to "remain".

This has stacked up as an England vs. the rest of the UK vote.

This will end messy. The negotiations have only just begun with this vote. Not ended.

Same!!

I suppose if it were rigged then it wouldn't have been surrounded by so much propaganda. I suppose that was their rigging.

They underestimated us

So, since Britain has been a member for so long, it will probably take a couple of years (at least?) to totally withdraw?

yes - at least 2 years. 2 years is the official time frame to untangle all the regulations and reporting structures.

I should think so.

There's going to be a ton of wrinkles to iron out, documents/laws/regulations/treaties etc etc.

Only Scotland had a huge majority for remain. Northern Ireland wasn't that huge of a margin and Wales sided with Englishmen who love their country

Don't let the colours on the map fool you, yes the majority voted remain, but still a large percentage of those populations voted leave.

I feel exactly the same.

Hey, why don't we just chill until the fat lady comes on and sings.

They have not declared the winner as yet!
