In the 1970's, we joined and voted to remain in a free market area, "The Common Market".
Then from about 1980 that began turning itself into the EU.

Thank-you for taking the time to reply DISRAEL! I feel really weird reading a thread that contains so much emotion, and it's all going right over my head. I'll keep reading and hopefully learn something. Like I said, didn't start paying attention to this issue until it reached the front pages here in the U.S.. That was yesterday. Thanks again.
