What do you suppose it is that does such stuff?

You yourself decided to do it.

Look at it this way. Imagine multiple duplicates of planet earth all running parallel to one another. Each one has a main resonate frequency ranging from all out hell on earth to utopia.

So as your unique DNA frequency fluctuates on a daily basis, your spirit jumps to and fro between these alternate realities.

The happier you feel the more your spirit will ascend to your perfect utopia whilst the low frequency versions you leave sink into wars and depression.

Here is an experiment. Whilst watching the usual wars and rumors of wars on TV and Youtube, think positively and then wait for that unique deja vu feeling to occur minutes / hours later. At that moment, the world that you ascended from has in fact gone into world war whilst your spirit avoided that one and entered into a better world, closer to utopia.

Then ATS shows more doom porn that never happens because your spirit says 'screw you' and avoids the doom porn becoming reality.

That sure is a lot of pseudo-scientific buzzwords to simply say that experienced reality is subjective.

Also I'm extremely cynical and yet I live in a super cool reality, in one of the best countries to live in, with a lot of good friends, a loving wife, a stable job, a comfortable life.

So maybe, just maybe, your DNA-Frequency-ascension theory is a lot of BS.

Just maybe

Everything changes, by Einstiens reasoning the only place to stop change would be a place with so much gravity that whatever would be "still" would be effectively destroyed. I'm not the best at explaining that stuff.

But everything changes constantly... decay and renew. Time is literally relative to place making a whole bubble of wtf's and what if's in regards to perception on time. It's how I understand it.

But everything changes. Physically little remains of the baby I was when I was born.

Maybe you should ask yourself what reality even is, in which reality you live in, what defines reality.

The Mandela Effect is just another flawed construct to explain an answer humans are looking for since the dawn of time.

changing history to suit their lack of understanding.

How do you correlate your 'understanding' of 'history' with Einstein's; "The 'past' and the 'future' are merely persistent illusions!"?

Aww . dont bring Einstein into this . If anyone , bring Tesla.

I also believe that the world around us is ever changing, (cause it is) nothing stays the same for ever.

Op not sure what you seen or if it was an illusion your eyes/mind made up?

Ether way it's interesting.

Tesla is the cool name to bring up to impress the poorly witted by making them think you know about complex physics when in fact you don't. The guy fell in love with a pigeon FFS.

Why no one here ever brings Aspect, Heisenberg or Schrödinger?

You have one flag and one star.

Just give it up.

There's only one "g" in Orangutan.

By definition you can never tell you are hallucinating. You need a 3rd party to deny/confirm the reality of what you see.

For having experienced exactly the same symptoms I would say a mild psychosis which hopefully will slowly fade away when you stop obsessing about the mandela effect, creating your own confirmation bias and self delusion.

Australia has always and will always be, next to Canadia.

this is nonsense.

Any of you who believe that reality is concrete and unchangeable need to look into quantum physics. I know it makes your heads hurt, but dammit people, read!! It's not that difficult.

That part of quantum physics is about collapsing probability waves.

I doubt you really understand what it truly means to be honest. It certainly doesn't mean observable reality will suddenly change from one state to another.

Maybe you shouldn't project about it hurting our heads or being too difficult.

^^ THIS!

On earth. One reality. It stinks...

no, it's not to do with what we think, we think because of it.

*sigh*

First : Schrödinger - All he had was a potentially dead cat
Heisenberg - Too philosophical about nature even for his own good
Aspect - really dont know enough to comment

With this post you show your understanding of quantum physics. id est: very slim and caricatural. Everyone knows about Shrödinger's cat because it's a cultural meme now. But do you know what his theory is actually about? What it means for the reality we live in? I doubt it.

I'm a bit disappointed so far with a board claiming to "deny ignorance"

Then by all means enlighten us.

Surely when this new version of ATS you fades into history all knowledge will pass with you.

I know we are feeble minded so please use small words.

OT: I am getting a 'Mandela Effect" with your new ATS persona.

My pleasure.

What would you want to know about quantum physics and its impact on experienced reality?

Or about anything for what it's worth.

So why do you assume an explanation *outside* of your own head?

This whole ME nonsense has no actual physical evidence -- it's merely what people remember or, more correctly, are NOT remembering correctly.

Due to the explosion of the internet, social media and advertising piggy-backing on those two mediums, people are a) remembering things wrong and b) agreeing that they have changed because the same mass-media inpact is happening on hundreds of millions of people who are all plugged into modern technology.

Things like the Star Wars: ESB quote, NIAYF (which is correct and I have *physical evidence* of this on my original VHS tapes from the 80s) is incorrectly being remembered as LIAYF because that is what the quote was adapted to to contextualise it for use in adverts, pop culture, sitcoms, etc -- anywhere where people wanted to make a joke or reference to that scene from SW:ESB of Vader telling Luke he is father, the quote was changed to give it context. Jesus I sound like a broken f**king record now as Ive said this a dozen times on this site.

Anyhow, to your quote,

What do you suppose it is that does such stuff?

Answer: social & mass media and easily fallaible human memory. Nothing else. No sinister aliens or the Illuminaughty using dasdardly technology.
