Well I was just over in the "mind hacking" thread, so I guess it could be mind hackers too.

So let's summarize some of the possibilities:

1. Time traveling warlords locked in an epic time-war changing our timelines

2. Governments are tinkering with temporal weapons or portal technology

3. Mass mind-hacking via some kind unknown alien technology

4. Aliens

5. Time Agents from alternate timelines are unknowingly screwing with our timeline

6. Human memory is faulty and based on association, not real "screen capture" or recording ability

Hmmmm...

Yeah, I think out of all those I'm going with this:

My statement above is of course just my theory. The whole war was a hot mess.
But if there's stories like this article, then who knows what else they fabricated around that capture event.
Not saying I'm right or that this article is proof of anything...but there seems to be a bit of traction on deception being used here:
Article dated 12 April 2015
Iraqi interpreter reveals new details about Saddam's capture

"Two days after Saddam was captured, a celebration was held for US commanders at the Rehab Palace. I was there to translate for Iraqi politicians expected to attend the event. While there I learned Saddam was not found in a hole as claimed by the official US account," the Iraqi explained. Ahmad said Saddam was actually found in a reinforced underground bunker beneath a modest-looking rural house, that Saddam had turned into his headquarters. The US captured one of Saddam's bodyguards who revealed its location.

Reportedly, the bunker contained weapons, a bed, a prayer mat, a copy of the Quran, dry food, and tobacco. The dictator did not resist and opened the door as dozens of soldiers were trying to kick it down. US soldiers then incapacitated him by throwing knockout gas grenades. A US army captain told Ahmad the picture of Saddam in a hole was taken after his capture. The hole was found near the house. It is similar to other holes found in homes in areas above the Tigris river, and was used to keep water pumps in. Saddam's capture was fabricated to humiliate him. US soldiers also apparently altered Saddam's appearance while he was unconscious, before taking pictures and sending them to Washington.

Just to clarify a bit more, I'm not trying to say his trial and hanging was staged at all. I believe that the person they hung was Saddam.

Just consider if they actually found the big bad leader of Iraq way earlier than planned, like only a couple of months into the war. Well then the war is pretty much over. Not good for business, they haven't found WMD's yet. More soldiers and mercenaries(Blackwater) to send for big contracts still needed for the profit margins. They could have had him in their own concrete hole for the time. And when they needed to play out the end of the show with "his capture" used a double to pose as a propaganda device for the masses.

Sure they tried, then hung Saddam. But maybe, just maybe that wasn't him in THAT photo, hence it's erasure from digital history. It would have been too easy to prove/disprove had it remained in the digital realm.

The photo we all recall may very well exist in some library, or newspapers storage as print, but that just doesn't allow for the proper digital examination of the photo's authenticity. The losses from the print medium would make it impossible to do any forensic discoveries. So even if we do find our missing photo, we can't use it to verify jack, except that we found the "missing" photo. As they planned.

I just don't trust our government with anything that has to do with their details of that war.

Well, I'm with you on not trusting the war scenario propagated by our "trusted leaders." I just don't see what the logic would have been to take the risk of faking a photo to the masses with a non-Saddam (or even a photoshopped picture of the real Saddam) if they had him in custody the whole time, as you postulate. They could've just taken a picture of the real Saddam when they were ready to reveal his capture instead of playing those kind of games. I'm not saying it's not possible, but it doesn't seem logical or likely.

I suppose it is also possible that there was something else in the photo aside from Saddam himself that they may have noticed, that they didn't want people to see. But if they have that kind of power to fully eradicate all online traces of an image both in photo and video form, why do we still have available footage of the BBC reporting the collapse of Building 7 before it collapsed, and other such incriminating evidence against TPTB?

Also keep in mind, there are very likely people with VHS or other type of archives from news broadcasts blaring that image in their reports. Not to mention hardcopy magazine and newspaper publications that surely would have included that image in their reports. That is something they wouldn't realistically have been able to tamper with in a non-Mandela Effect way.

Maybe something like that will turn up eventually; we shall see.

But, if we do eliminate the possibility of them eradicating a botched fake photo from the internet as well as the Mandela Effect, we are pretty much left with a large group of us coincidentally misremembering the same thing that never actually was. That's always a possibility, eh?

And I have to side with you to a point.
I know that is a stretch of imagination, but I'm only trying to tie some points together;
A number of us independently remember a common image well and it cannot be found DIGITALLY.(web-bots can be very effective)
Our government lies, it lied about that war a lot.
Would they stop lying when/how they captured him? Never let a good crisis go to waste right?

VHS copies of the broadcasted image is forensically near useless. Just like the news printed or magazine images are. Have you looked closely at images on a newspaper or magazine? Just a lot of colored dots melting into an image. Broadcasted image quality is severely lacking as well. Finding one of those only just proves our memory was right and we found the "missing" photo. But nothing as far as faked or not fake.

well according to some points of view we are all acting out for attention and are suffering from a similar type of syndrome as the "special snow flake" common among SJW's and 3rd wave feminnist.
Just sayin'

Relevancy?

So people "suffering" from the Mandella Effect and Some who recall an image that can't be found(not firmly believers of said ME ), are all somehow... as you put it;

Great. we are all now either a SJW and or a 3rd wave feminist. Thanks, I can sleep better now knowing I am a snowflake with bad memory. SMH

Hmm, I remember him in his hidey-hole...with Kermit the Frog, Twiki from Buck Rogers and it was Dr Jonathan Chase (aka: Manimal) who led authorities to him while in the shape of an irate badger.

But... I can't find any pictures of this.. that can only mean ONE thing -- Mandela Effect.

Time has changed. This memory of mine, which is 100% accurate as every single person I know remembers this (no I won't tell you their names there's just too many) so -- it MUST have been the timeline being changed by Project Looking Glass, or CERN actually...

Yes. I'm 100% sure and this statement is 100% evidence of this.

If a mic is dropped and no one was there to hear it, does it still make a sound?

Why are these things really inconsequential details that don't change day-to-day living?

It's not like I woke up one day and my dog could talk.

No, instead it's the shade of the Starbucks cup or the amount of filling in an Oreo changing.

I think the Mandela thing could be more about us being "lied" to through false history being created through narration.

Instead of it being different now, we are just actually seeing the truth now and shaking off the cobwebs of the facade that was.

It's all about the Frankenstein Radio Control broadcasting from the center of the Moon.
"They" have been creating our "reality" for millennia now.
Perhaps we are waking up. Maybe their signal is getting weaker.

History is white washed. Australian history is a prime example; it's well known that the colonels establishing the convict settlement slaughtered every Aboriginal man, woman and child they could find. What has been forgotten is that the colonels were emerging socialists (a concept that surged through 18th C Brittain)

Theoretically, if you had hundreds of years you could leak out little doctored photos here and there, Eliminate the negative stories while pumping more positive. If done well, TPTB could change Hitler into a hero who won the war and reduce the Holocaust into a 'much needed' Migrant removal camp that sent illegal immigrants and criminals 'back home".

Interesting.

A US army captain told Ahmad the picture of Saddam in a hole was taken after his capture.

www.alaraby.co.uk...

Maybe it is this picture :

Taken from en.wikipedia.org...

I do not know about the ME effect , But i find it very interesting that so many people have a recollection to a photo wich nobody can find .

Try googling 'thunderbird photograph.' For years people insisted they'd seen a photo of a massive, folkloric bird and some are still looking for it to this day. It's possibly the first example of 'Mandela Effect' and imo caused by the same thing...confabulated memories and faulty memories. Whatever the case, that remembered photograph is a Fortean legend.

God help me, when I looked at the Saddam capture photos, it made me feel sorry for him. What a terrible way to go. Holed up, dragged out and hanged. There's nothing to say in his defence and thousands died in far worse ways thanks to him. Still, he looked like a bedraggled old man, lost and helpless, instead of the cruel PoS he was for most of his life.

Pretty sure they violated him with a metal rod too... was pretty awful.
I remember seeing the video of his capture and death and it was awful, whatever kind of evil ****wit he was - and he was - you almost wouldn't wish that on anyone.

As to the OP I kind of remember that picture too.
I wonder if anyone filmed it, maybe search for videos instead?

Hmm

Interesting thing about this topic is that my father-in-law was a Sergeant Major stationed over there during his capture, and he had all of the photos of the capture and sent some to me via email (probably wasn't supposed to do that, but whatevs).

I wish that I had them on this computer to upload, but alas, I do not--they're on an external hard drive somewhere at home.

I'm not so sure, though, that being unable to find a photo on the internet is really an indication that the ME is real. (Mandela Effect, not Middle East)

Mandela effect

This is not Mandela Effect. Just a bad actor, Hussein is still alive, his reward for playing the game and not surrendering thus allowing the invaders to continue. Business as usual

There are a few Mandela Effects that I do share with others and some I don't. I do remember Saddam coming out of a hole too. And I also remember there being an actual North Pole with land.
