I'm lucky enough to have an other half that's willing to let me go do all this stuff.

Of course, I just didn't add them in yet. I took 500 pictures over the course of the day, so I'm still picking and choosing which I'm going to post.

Best for last. I get it.

I was there in the middle of summer about 12 years ago. Almost passed out from the heat but it was awesome.

I was there about 30 minutes after they opened today, and walking the yard was pretty hot. But well worth it.

Well I understand that, mine came along for the extended Cape Canaveral bus tour 4.5 hours of retired launchpads. I loved every minute but by the end she was like damn how much empty concrete can you stand to see.

They've upgraded the display since I was there. It was sitting on gravel under a canopy at that time.

It's a 71. And I never knew Arizona housed one. Had you not said anything, I would not have persuaded my curiosity. As a child in the 70's I was aware that only 3 existed. As time went on though. I'll add this to the list😊

I've only touched 2 71's, Dulles and CIA headquarters ( they keep it in the parking lot).

Next time we go to the beach in South Carolina I told my girlfriend we are detouring by the one @ Warner Robins. I have no excuse for not having gone since I was a kid.

The rear view was the most impressive to me (not that the lines are not gorgeous)
Them are some damned big engines.

Just wondering, any reports of the US possessing any Su 27 or 35's? I know we have quite the history of mysteriously coming in possesion of Russian hardware.

Edit: Meh a quite google search answered the 27 question. How bout the 35's?
