Pop quiz on today's visit. It shouldn't be too hard to figure this one out. Hell, I'm surprised you guys didn't hear me squeal.

It gave me the warm fuzzies to see this one sitting in the Boneyard, knowing it's not flying anymore.

Tucson, Arizona?

I have seen other photos of the place. Its the mountains. They look the same. That place is HUGE! Forget the actual name.

My other guess would be: Cal Worthington applying for a loan!

I remember going to a boneyard in the early 70s. I think it was possibly in Lathrop Cali. There were old ww2 jets, I remember climbing in them checking out what was left inside. I thought about where they had been. I was way up by the pilot seat fantasizing, when my buddy called out, " hey man, were here to get parts for my cushman!" You could never go inside one of those planes now a days

I can clearly see that on Google Earth..😊
Figured they are almost flight worthy, but are there for spare parts.

Side note: You were just in Ohio. Now swinging by in Arizona. I never wanted to be a truck driver so bad. What you must be able to see while traveling the roads. I tip my hat to you good sir. Thanks for keeping good records.😊👍

If I only had time+money+winnebago..
I envy my brother Inlaw right now too. Got a job with a trucking company in Ohio. Grabbed my nephew who is now 10, and set out to the roads of the U.S.. my nephew loves aviation and the road. The emails I'm getting right now😊

I wish I could have been able to get a better shot of this one, but I was trying to shoot across the bus, through the windows on the far side. This was the oldest -135 in the inventory when it was active. It was also at Hickam for a few years as well.

Zaph, you make me want to reconsider my career choices and become a truck driver with all the cool stuff you get to see! Awesome pics as always, supremely jealous!
