Mate I was doing alright with this until I saw your post.

I spoke to him on and off via pm as could not keep up with the thread and have been struggling to get my head around the fact that I am deeply saddened by the loss of someone that I never actually knew outside of debate and messages on the internet.

A fitting tribute though.

I am so very sorry for the loss of your brother.

I couldn't help but note that he had the kindest, most gentle eyes in his picture.

Since eyes are the window to the soul, it seems a very special man walked the earth and has now gone home from whence he came.

What a brave and kindred soul.

Yes that is VERY fitting Skid, and a reminder of how Everyone here, is important to Everyone else, in one way or another. For the owners of this site to have put that Black Bar across Their logo, brings tears to this Dragons eyes. As does all the outpouring of Heartfelt words from the Good Souls here in this Thread...

Just wondering today going about my leisure how a soul can touch you and become familiar.
Thought of these "after" days for Woody's family, that really are "before" days.

So many things to do, people to talk to arrangements to be made.
Flowers and songs and clothes and......an endless list of ungodly practical things that are so superficial compared to that gaping void and urge to just scream "NO"
Against all logic we want to reverse the whole ordeal, it is so finite, in our inner depths we pray it is just a bad dream.
But we don't dare utter these thoughts, we "Must go on", as they say.
Some times all we can do is sit down and wait for the fullness of life to reach back and lift us up because we are too tired to even hold out a hand.

I pray you are well.

Sorry for the loss. Sad after all that to lose your life anyway

We just found out today about Woody passing on. We will both miss him dearly and hope all his pain and suffering is done with.
