My father would rewrite songs, make up funny lyrics...which I do.
The "Green Green Grass of Home"...lyrics, "Down the road I look and there runs Mary hair of gold and lips like cherries"
my father would sing,
"...there runs Mary, lips all chapped and chest all hairy..."

So I know where my smart-assery comes from, lol.
