Yes, You know what I am talking about..

Things will happen.

I watch it every day. things are getting jiggy.

I just watched a 3.0 make a big mess and giggle the Northern Midwest. And most folks had no clue what was going on below there feet..

The tremors are so small. yet, when you watch the seismographs, they are very significant.

So you were navy or a pirate?

That's Ok if you were a pirate. People change. You are probably a really nice person now.

I wasn't very fond of pirates, we would have to have guards on and seal every thing.

Not fond of pirates OMG, have you seen Captain Jack sparrow????????

No fawns yet. Don't expect to see them for another month.

We have had a bear in the area with cubs. So I'm not sure what to expect this year.

I heard this bear. That was the first time for me. And we have scant,

So maybe the deer might lay somewhere else.

A thunk for you to mull over :

I have been seeing a few people posting help requests in the computer sections here and was wondering if maybe we could set up a support group for IT issues, sort of like the Avatar thread.

I would happily help out and would like to get some like minded people on board, not necessarily proper IT people, but power users at least who know their way around a computer.

Anyone got any thoughts on who might be
a) competent
b) interested

I can PM them and ask before creating a thread. I would just like to use the talents people have to help others.

Also, is it a good idea?

Thank you, it is all right, I had an eight year self imposed internet sabbatical before I reemerged late last year.

I will not go to "He whom we do not name". I used to partake in boycotts and riots against the same company when I lived in a land with more liberty.

I could house sit for you in China, if I can bring my Beagle, Rottie and four cats?

A Rottie????

One of my dogs in Africa was a Rottie/Border Collie mix. I called him a Smart Thug as he was so big and aggressive looking, but sharp as anything. Best dog I ever had - he was gorgeous and so gentle, but I still have a scar on my hand as a souvenir from him. It was not his fault at all.

You must cherish that mark as lovely tattoo.
Did he have long hair? Being both herding dogs that must have been a challenge.
I only got her recently, she is a very determined lady. Her name I GiGi.

Hey 19!
*cue music* LOL

Everytime I see you now!

I went to pick up some food for the lazy bunch here and while standing at the counter...I could see into the restaurant just a little.
It amazes me how many folks were on their phones...eating with one hand and scrolling with the other!
But, it was ironic also as that is just how my family looks when we go to dinner!

Sorry Chirp, I know you are answering 19, but I would like to chime in.

Why has this taken over our lives?
What is the allurement of being "connected" to some one who isn't there, instead of connecting to the person in front of you?
I do wish some one would come up with a plausible theory.

So good to see you.

Can i answer. Sometimes in life we get sick and tired of peoples ways. So we as humans want to go out and explore. This goes back to nomadic times when men just pulled his girl by the hair into a cave.

Now we have to be nice, gentle and tell our lovers how much we love them.

Cave man were animals. Lol

Q I appreciate your reply but we are talking about collective denial.
This is about every body acknowledging nobody. Every one is some where else then in the moment.

And I truly doubt our ancestors let them selves be pulled by the hair. They had to defend the cave while the boys where hunting. They were no push overs.

Never a need to apologise to ME!
Ever!
It's good to see you as well

I think that most are disenchanted with their lives.

I think people are searching for something. It's a new phenomenon but, I believe there was a 'shift' when the internet began and for better or worse this is our lot.

Perhaps it's a compulsion? I am as guilty as my children. Always looking...for what? Well, we/I won't know until it is found, I think.

Rambling as usual...NOW forgive ME as you all know how I get
