I am from Tennessee, the Volunteer State. We are known for being the capital of country music (Nashville), Elvis and Graceland (Memphis), Lookout Mountain, where you can see 7 states (Chattanooga), Dollywood (Pigeon Forge), Jack Daniels Distillery, 1982 Worlds Fair, Davy Crockett, and beautiful mountains in the east known as "God's Country." Oh, and the "secret city" now called Oak Ridge, where they developed the atomic bomb. On page one of this thread, I think that is a picture of Megan Fox, if it is her, she was born in Oak Ridge.

We are also known for moonshine, banjo playing, barbeque, corn cob pipes, fishing, hiking, and hillbillies.

Notable people born in Tennessee are Quentin Tarantino, Megan Fox, Morgan Freeman, Miley Cyrus, Justin Timberlake, Tina Turner, Arethra Franklin, Dolly Parton. Samuel L Jackson grew up in Chattanooga and even Oprah lived and went to college here.

I'm from southern California too. I have heard from other parts of the US that we are known for being druggies and sexual deviants. For Europeans we are superficially beautiful and fake idiots.
