--Ask a Mexican-- I am a Mexican living in the United States of America illegaly

Greetings ATS,

I am a long time lurker of the site. I have recently read postings of Muslims introducing themselves, and thought maybe I would go ahead and do the same.
The main reason for this thread is to give you guys the chance to personally ask an illegal Mexican anything you want.
But, I also want for those of you against Mexicans(I know there are a lot of you) to ask me anything you want so I can clear up any issues you have(if possible).

I will answer every single question truthfully.
And please keep any rude and/or discriminatory comments to yourself. Thank you and fire away!

No, I have never been arrested or have had to reveal my status to the authorities.

I hope i never have to tbh. I was brought here against my will or without my consent. I have already built a life here, I have a wife (who is white) a good job and everything I need.

I dread the day I get pulled over for a stupid reason and have to get arrested and then deported. That will ruin my life as it will be quite difficult for me to come back and will most likely lose my family.

Living in New Mexico, I've known several people who are here from Mexico illegally, and they've all been good people. If your parents brought you here at a young age, it's not something you had any control over one way or another. Anyway....What are your thoughts on securing the border?

How do you feel about people who say that anyone coming into the US should do so legally?

Most of us are good people. But just like in every race there's some bad ones here and there. Unfortunately, we only see the bad ones on tv/news because of the crimes they've committed and therefore puts a bad image on the rest of us.

I think the border issue is blown out of proportion.
No i do not think we should build a huge wall.
I think we should let most Mexicans in just as they let all canadians in
but enforce drug security at the border.

95% of Mexicans are just trying to come here and find a better life. Most of them live in poverty over there. I do not think it is fair to be so lenient with other races but be so harsh when it comes to Mexicans.

Yes she is here legally, we are currently working on that but it is quite pricey.
