I understand evolution enough to know that it in
no way makes any claims to how life began or
our origins. Evolution tries to explain what happens
to life. Not how life began.

Perhaps there is a god after all! I'm beyond thrilled to see someone with your level of devotion finally getting this important piece of the puzzle. Maybe all of our heated debates have not been for naught!

Implying you have experience with superhuman intelligence?

WTF! No! I'm implying there is a superhuman intelligence.
And I don't see how you can even get it so twisted.
Unless it's intentional?

For which you have zero evidence and the only claims for his existence were made 2000 years ago by a different religion to yours, its also apparent, that religious belief and a lack of education go hand in hand.

Considering that you Bible thumpers believe that the Jews are all going to Hell for not being Christians, its quite surprising that when someone says "Isn't the bible fiction", your only response has to be based on a Jews testimony.

You know that stuff that happened to you when you were a kid and your parents dragged you to church, there's a word for that, the word is "indoctrination"

Both heated and unheated and even when you come off a bit snobish.
I appreciate what you bring to the table. It must've been frustrating at
times.

Blah Blah Blah what ever.

" For whitch you have zero evidence"!

Why does that put the image of a dark haired little girl
with thick framed glasses in my head?

Yup. Didn't expect you to have an answer to why you are following a religion that the Roman Empire popularised after realising it was a great way to control their ignorant slaves....
Of course, you could read about the facts of that, but even if you did, your confirmation bias would prevent you from seeing the truth, that you are a slave, following a slave religion because it keeps you compliant for your Masters

After all, you believe that mankind started out in a garden with a talking snake

Oh wait, sorry, didn't you start this thread because you wanted to attack Atheists
probably a good idea to examine your own failures first before attacking what you think is a failure of others

Maybe you could answer this question for me
Why are all the worlds most famous scientists Athiests
Something about intelligence maybe ?

Because their so consumed by their quest for knowledge they've
lost all touch with their spirituality. They've literally starved their
spirit to the point they can't even understand what people who
have one are talking about. That is exactly why!

Wow, confirmation bias has you hard Randy, so what you're saying is, that the people who've done the most to advance mankind, are all worse off than you, because you know better than them
that's pride
that's sinful
that's you off to Hell right, according to your own rules

oh and that spirit, any evidence for its existence ?

I'm shocked I missed this thread until now. Seems like everyone else has already responded with what I would have stated:

What the heck is an "Atheist Agenda"?

I was never made aware of one, and I've been an Atheist all my life.

Could you elaborate on what an "Atheist Agenda" is? or if you have somewhere in the topic, please quote that response

What the heck is an "Atheist Agenda"?

:

According to Atheists, its not wanting a deity to be doing anything in their lives anymore than they want Tinkerbelle or a piece of cheese doing anything

According to people of faith, its wanting to bring down human civilisation to make way for the reign of Satan

Which, if anything, should tell you all you need to know about Religious understanding...

These threads always turn laughably personal.

I am a Catholic (raised) ... But I can clearly state I have no idea what/who God really is.

I believe in a higher intelligence/power. But we're not programmed to understand it. It's way beyond our comprehension.

when ever " teh atheist adgenda " is cited as a " threat " in the USA

i secretly giggle at the absurdity of how such a tiny minority [ atheism ] instills such batcrap fear and paranoia in certain quarters of such a massive majority [ christianity ]

Technically I'm a Catholic. Just not exactly practicing.
My views may somewhat mimic those of an agnostic theist but I doesn't mean I'm not a Catholic.

[Religion] would have been better than [Christianity] ...

Atheism to me isn't a threat. It's just another belief system based on our limited knowledge of the universe.

Consider it a test rather than a threat.
