Remember the CIA does this fo r a living and can kill anyone with impunity.

And do they generally leave the pillow on top of the victim's head?

No it's not. Median life expectancy in the USA is 78.7 years

Chance of death due to an umbrella of causes at 64 years is 1 in 64. At 78 years it is a 1 in 15 chance annually to die from any cause. Past 65 years or so, a man has a better chance to die in any particular year as he does winning any prize on a lottery scratch ticket.

Math is not superstition.

To cover the eyes most likely. Some killers can also use a pillow to suffocate them too. Using lysol on one side of it is a way to kill someone too quite quickly.

The Washington Post reports:

The next morning, Scalia did not show up for breakfast. Poindexter at first thought he might be sleeping late, but eventually he grew concerned. Late Saturday morning, he and one other person knocked on the door to Scalia’s room, an expansive suite called the “El Presidente.” When there was no answer, they went inside.

“Everything was in perfect order. He was in his pajamas, peacefully, in bed,” Poindexter said.

No autopsy was performed by request of the family.

...and also to send a message to anyone that would dare to be too brash in their criticisms of the system?

After listening to the last 15 years of truthers saying Bush and Cheney went to war to fatten their bank accounts.

I think the notion the current state killed a sitting supreme court justice.

Should be explored.

Does anyone have any actual evidence that Justice Scalia was ... what are we saying here ... politically assassinated?

Supposition is fine; where's the evidence?

Circumstances that don't favor your personal political positions are not evidence, by the way.

Pillow on his face? Avoidance of autopsy on one of the most powerful men in America? Died the one time he decided not to take his guards? Story changing like 10 times? Lots and lots of motive on any person that powerful.

There's way more than enough to warrant serious suspicion at least.

Only if they are sending a message to others they wish to manipulate.
That way the assassination is more effective at producing results than the mere death of the man.

Now, I don't know anything more or less than anyone else here, I just suspect assassination because of the circumstances. If I was Sherlock Holmes, I would have some real suspicions and look at the evidence. But the evidence is being swept away without an autopsy. That is soooo shady.

Have you read what David Shurter has accused Scalia of? www.davidshurter.com

He claims that was part of a powerful pedophile ring that had abused him as a youngster and that was the point of the trip but that a teen killed Scalia in the bedroom while being trafficked for sex.
