Give the system an inch, it'll take a mile.

It is a death of a thousand cuts. Incrementally turning to socialism, because once you do, there is no going back.

You can preach all the doomsday rhetoric from now until election day but it's not going to change anything. Fact, there will be a new president who's picked from what we have seen as our choices. Fact, the only one of those choices who's even remotely trying to fix the corruption is Sanders. So even if I was to agree with you, what other choice is there???

What, vote Cruz and turn us into a Theocratic Nightmare???

Or perhaps, Clinton or Bush and be a Fascist Corporatacracy???

Or Trump and become an Imperialist???

What???

And you think socialism is the best choice?

It's not doomsday rhetoric. Sadly, the people of the US will vote themselves into slavery to the state. That's a fact.

Doesn't matter if it goes by socialism, authoritarianism, fascism.

Slaves don't really care what name their master chooses to call itself.

We're already slaves to the oligarchy, at least to the state we'll be people and not just an asset or object to be exploited for pure profit.

Well off to start my 60 hour work week, bye all.

No, but we're not going full Socialist though. Just implementing some more socialist policies of which there are already many others. We've had a mix of socialist policies running for a while now. But that isn't even the point. Like you say, I don't care what you call it, but something needs to be done.

Once again you've failed to address what I'm asking you. What's the other options that we have??? Because out of what we have to choose from Sanders is the best choice. Does that mean he's the absolute best person for the job??? No. I'm sure there is someone out there somewhere who's a better choice. But that mystery person isn't in the race.

So again, I ask you, what's your solution??? Don't give me a bunch more counter arguments against Sanders or Socialism because I've heard them and they aren't solutions to anything. What is the other choice which you seem to think we have??

So you don't want freedom, you just want a new master.

I want economic freedom for myself and everyone who makes less than the average household income. I believe we can achieve that through Sanders' brand of democratic socialism.

You're a wage slave and you don't even know it.

Total socialism, but by inches. Because once you start a socialist "plan", it'll never go away.
Then it's another plan.
Then it's another plan.
. . . . .

My solution?

Stop trusting life-long government employees. Government is not the solution. Work to reduce government.

instead of just changing slave-masters, try adopting freedom.

And you're defending your new master.

Just like a good slave should.

Ok, let's take this really slow this time.

What you just said, isn't a solution for "who to elect for president". Nor is he a life long government employee. Then you even mix in slave masters and some other stuff. Is it possible for you to not use hyperbole or anything of that nature and simply answer the question. Who to elect for president if not Sanders???

Ahhh, yes, the "lesser of two evils" line of thought. Gee whiz, why didn't I think of that!

Because it's totally insane! How 'bout none of the above, because that's the reality. NONE of any of these bozos is fit to hold the highest office in this land. Not one.

As if we ever really had a "decent" choice from the Presidential candidates that they "gave" to us. It's money that rules the political game, in case you haven't noticed. Whomever funds the most evil piece of crap, it means that particular Presidential candidate is going to do their bidding. So no...you're wrong, putting hope aside (as it is not reality) the reality is that...every President we are going to get, or have ever had, will be just as bad, if not worse, than all of the previous Presidents before him (or her), who have ensured that war is constant, and that the National Debt will continue to spike upward. The reality is that,we ARE always left with the lesser of the two evils.

There is no right choice.

just a number of bad ones.

Want me to speak plainer?

We're all slaves to the system. It's just that I'm not going to be a happy one.

I'm not going to cheer the new regime, the new master. Your master wants to take more of my money.

Ok so in other words you don't have a better option for anyone. That's fine but it doesn't change the fact that one of these people will be our next Pres. So that being said, out of the choices we have, I'm going Sanders.

That's it.

You may continue complaining about it and tell everyone that the sky is falling because of it all you want now. Let me know if you actually come up with a better choice.

I'm in no position to tell anyone who a better choice is.

I'm just someone on the internet. I may vote for Trump, but that's because he's as far away from sanders as anyone could be.

I don't like socialism. Not even a little bit. We currently have some socialism now, and you know what? We can never get rid of the programs we have now. So eventually it'll go full socialism. Or communism.

Depends on which bastard is in charge at the time.

He's not my master. But he might be my president.

With your money he's trying to give you back Education, Healthcare and a voice that can be heard over the sound of big money pouring in from lobbying.

So your master wants to take care of me too?

Awww. No thanks.

Oh wait, I can't opt out, it's mandatory.

That's because there is not better choice to tell them anyway. If you had one, you'd say it. But there isn't a better choice.

You may just be a guy on the internet but so are we. So if it doesn't qualify you to tell others what a better choice is why does it qualify you to tell others that their choice is wrong???

Like some other posters around here lately you have a lot of negative things to say about what others think and choose and have loads of reasons why they are morons and fools and are destroying the world. But that's all you have to offer. You don't have any better options or avenues that are actually available for anyone. Just lot's of ways of tearing down the ideas of others but nothing good to offer up as an alternative. So I really don't see what your end game is here other than to try and tear down others ideas and leave them empty afterward.

I don't get it. Again with the "Your Master" BS. Why do you have to be a dick?? We're just having a conversation. I'm trying to be civil but that's not enough for you is it??

Yeah, I suppose he wants to try and help everyone equally. What a horrible thing to do huh?? The nerve of him.

As if any leader of anything has ever done any different. That's what it means to lead people. You can't please everyone all the time so you do what you think is best. He's no different.

Yeah, well we can't opt out of anything any other president has signed us up for either so we can at least say Sanders will be no different than any other president before him in that sense.
