Because then you end up with all of them!

Exactly! I couldn't guarantee that we'd only come home with one!

My dad made that mistake with us.

We went to see a littler of kittens to get two once. There were four. I latched on to the "ugly" one - the tabby. My mom and my sister kept trying to get me to switch up to one of two others who were "prettier," and I held my ground. So we wound up with three.

When dad got home, he looked around, sighed, and said, "What? Where's the fourth one?"

Seriously, I know you've had some problems having to let two of yours go recently, so I am glad you're going to be adding a new bundle of joy and poop soon. Puppies are always so much fun, just like kittens! Enjoy your new baby and best of luck.

On names. Neither Deuteronomy nor Urinater will work for us... Although, when Jaia was a baby, I called him "little # machine" many times.

Oh well. So I guess Michael Vicks Best Friend is out too?

I like Romney's Luggage Rack or Obama's Entrée.

Those are catchy too.

In the spirit of Obama's Entrée I offer German Shepherds Pie.

This is why we go with cats.

I have had many cats over the years... It was only when we moved into this place that I felt it was nice enough to have some big dogs with plenty of room for exercise, that I became a doggy mama. I love cats, but if I'm to be completely honest, they've always been a substitute for dogs in my life.

Jesus. And I thought my suggestions were bad. How about just calling it Amon Goeth and really making a statement?

I looooove german shepards, they're my absolute favourite breed of dog.

My neighbour had a gorgeous albino german shepard named Atlas... he was the most beautiful dog I've ever laid my eyes on. The black parts were a beige-y cream colour, the normally brown parts were a pale creamy colour, and his eyes were a beautiful icy blue.

He was my bestest buddy... I used to go over to the neighbours asking if Atlas could come out and play, LOL.

I've never seen a dog like him since.

Congrats on your new furry baby, give us lots of pics when you get your new bundle of joy !

How exciting! Can't wait to see pics! I don't have the room for a dog and I'm too lazy to own a dog. I'll stick to my cat, fish, turtle and rat.
Congratulations to you and your family. I'm sure you will have many years of joy and love with your precious puppy.

I once had a Heeler named Johan Bittenoff.

People were not in a hurry to pet him.

The litter we're interested in is being temperament tested tomorrow, so if there's a therapy dog-type temperament in there, we may be getting him/her very soon!
