No law broken.

No claim the info got into enemy hands.

And using a personal mail server is not illegal. Perhaps in hindsight they will adjust the procedures and ban personal mail servers in the future.

You Hillary haters just make # up, as usual. Still waiting for a rational conservative comment not based on lies or hate. Been waiting twenty years too.

I've voted democrat or third party in every prior election. I'll vote conservative if this witch gets the nod instead of Bernie Sanders or anybody else. I even got the bonus pleasure of her as a Senator. She's disturbingly corrupt, fake and evil....... even by career politician standards

You haters been trying to attack her for decades. Maybe try to admit facts that no laws were broken.

Here is some commentary by Judge Andrew P. Napolitano...

The crime here occurs when SAPs are exposed by residing in a nonsecure venue; it does not matter for prosecution purposes whether they fell into the wrong hands.

Clinton’s persistent mocking of the seriousness of all this is the moral equivalent of taunting alligators before crossing a stream. SAPs are so sensitive that most of the FBI agents who are investigating Clinton lack the security clearances needed to view the SAP found among her emails. Most FBI agents have never seen a SAP.

Shortly after the presence of the SAP-denominated email was made known, the State Department released another email Clinton failed to erase wherein she instructed her subordinates to take state secrets from a secure venue, to cut and paste and summarize them, and send them to her on her nonsecure venue. Such an endeavor, if carried out, is a felony -- masking and then not safeguarding state secrets. Such a command to subordinates can only come from a criminal mind.

Equally as telling is a little-known 2013 speech that recently surfaced given by one of Clinton’s former subordinates. The aide revealed that Clinton and her staff regularly engaged in digital conversations about state secrets on their BlackBerries. This is not criminal if the BlackBerries were government-issued and secured. Clinton’s was neither. It was purchased at her instructions off the shelf by one of her staff.

Judge's Opinion Piece

No laws were broken? Think again.

Please read the letter from the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community to members of Congress:

www.redstate.com...

Again, examine the FACTS:

1. The letter, dated 11 August 2015, clearly states that some classified emails on Hillarys server were found to be classified at Top Secret//SI//TK//NOFORN.

2. TK means satellite imagery or information derived from that satellite imagery. This information is classified TS//SCI from the very instant that image is snapped.... before it is transmitted back to earth and long before it wound up on her server, it was classified.

4. 18 U.S. Code § 793 - Gathering, transmitting or losing defense information

(d)
Whoever, lawfully having possession of, access to, control over, or being entrusted with any document, writing, code book, signal book, sketch, photograph, photographic negative, blueprint, plan, map, model, instrument, appliance, or note relating to the national defense, or information relating to the national defense which information the possessor has reason to believe could be used to the injury of the United States or to the advantage of any foreign nation, willfully communicates, delivers, transmits or causes to be communicated, delivered, or transmitted or attempts to communicate, deliver, transmit or cause to be communicated, delivered or transmitted the same to any person not entitled to receive it, or willfully retains the same and fails to deliver it on demand to the officer or employee of the United States entitled to receive it

This is pretty clear….IF someone willfully transmits or causes to be communicated classified information to someone who does not have the proper clearance, ie; such as putting it on a thumb drive and giving it to your lawyer, then they can be charged under this provision.

(e)
Whoever having unauthorized possession of, access to, or control over any document, writing, code book, signal book, sketch, photograph, photographic negative, blueprint, plan, map, model, instrument, appliance, or note relating to the national defense, or information relating to the national defense which information the possessor has reason to believe could be used to the injury of the United States or to the advantage of any foreign nation, willfully communicates, delivers, transmits or causes to be communicated, delivered, or transmitted, or attempts to communicate, deliver, transmit or cause to be communicated, delivered, or transmitted the same to any person not entitled to receive it, or willfully retains the same and fails to deliver it to the officer or employee of the United States entitled to receive it

This is pretty clear as well, same as (d), key phrase being “unauthorized possession of”. IF someone has classified information outside of strict control, such as an unclassified email server in their home, they can be charged under this provision.

(f)
Whoever, being entrusted with or having lawful possession or control of any document, writing, code book, signal book, sketch, photograph, photographic negative, blueprint, plan, map, model, instrument, appliance, note, or information, relating to the national defense, (1) through gross negligence permits the same to be removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of his trust, or to be lost, stolen, abstracted, or destroyed, or (2) having knowledge that the same has been illegally removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of its trust, or lost, or stolen, abstracted, or destroyed, and fails to make prompt report of such loss, theft, abstraction, or destruction to his superior officer—
Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both.

“Whoever, being entrusted with” This is a catch all phrase that applies to every single person who has or had a security clearance.

“(1) through gross negligence permits the same to be removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of his trust, or to be lost, stolen, abstracted, or destroyed,”

Gross negligence is exactly what it implies. No criminal intent is required for conviction. This negates any defense of “I didn’t know it was classified” or “I wasn’t aware it was classified”. Accidentally having classified material in any place outside of proper controls falls under this category.

“Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both.” Pretty clear.

We can play this game all day long.... anybody wants to prove anything I posted above is wrong, go for it.

Focusing on the question of who leaked the damning evidence outlined in a letter to Congress by the intelligence community Inspector General is a lame attempt to distract from...the damning evidence outlined in a letter to Congress by the intelligence community Inspector General. How journalists got their hands on the documents isn't the story here, and it never will be.

The one thing that is most important here that no one is addressing, is the possibility that there is nothing to blow the lid off of. Similar to Benghazi.

A few of the things people are claiming she is absolutely guilty of is not or was not against the law or any policy at the time she was using the private email and server.

Top secret servers including email servers are not connected to unclassified networks such as the regular Internet that we use. So they would have to copy them from a TS email, probably on a USB thumb drive, and then sneaker foot them to an appropriate computer to then send them to the intended recipient.

You know, you hit on something here that has been a question
in my mind also, continuing from the Snowden leak, then the
"blessed" movie from the Whitehouse about bin Laden raid,
other similar made for TV segments on national security
featuring U.S. Generals, and military officials.

WTH!

Makes you wonder. Still holding out hope the FBI will deal with her.

Otherwise, she is thumbing her nose and a big finger to all of America,
and if they let her get away with this, they will never be able to
reign it back in.

I didn't claim to be a democrat I just would never vote Republican before. Its possible to not just blindly vote based off the color of the ticket. Hillary is a monster regardless of what banner she runs under, she's the living embodiment of everything that's wrong with the political class and corrupt politics.

Some emails were "received" from other systems.

Lots of room for ???

And the FBI does in fact have a Hillary thumb drive with her server.

Clinton’s attorney hands over private e-mail server, thumb drive to FBI

FBI Seizes Four State Department Servers in Clinton Email Probe

The FBI took possession of Clinton’s private email server last summer after classified information was found in some of the more than 30,000 emails Clinton turned over to the State Department.

The FBI has seized four State Department computer servers as part of its probe into how classified information was compromised on former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s private email system, according to people familiar with the investigation.

Gotta love the name calling of people that want a corrupt politician out of the public office scene.

If this were a republican would you feel the same...I doubt it.

None of underlings will ever really know the full truth. Being tired of a situation or ongoing event is one thing, but saying people are stupid for wanting her out of the running is just classless
