God can chew on the foreskin he gave me then demanded be cut off.

Faith, it blinds people to psychopathic behavior.

Are you Jewish?

Act 15:7
After much discussion, Peter got up and addressed them: “Brothers, you know that some time ago God made a choice among you that the Gentiles might hear from my lips the message of the gospel and believe.

Act 15:8
God, who knows the heart, showed that he accepted them by giving the Holy Spirit to them, just as he did to us.

Act 15:9
He did not discriminate between us and them, for he purified their hearts by faith.

Act 15:10
Now then, why do you try to test God by putting on the necks of Gentiles a yoke that neither we nor our ancestors have been able to bear?

Act 15:11
No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are.”

Seems like you have your parents to thank for the gift of circumcision. I am very glad my parents had me circumcised.

What are the benefits of circumcision?
There is some evidence that circumcision has health benefits, including:

A decreased risk of urinary tract infections.
A reduced risk of some sexually transmitted diseases in men.
Protection against penile cancer and a reduced risk of cervical cancer in female sex partners.
Prevention of balanitis (inflammation of the glans) and balanoposthitis (inflammation of the glans and foreskin).
Prevention of phimosis (the inability to retract the foreskin) and paraphimosis (the inability to return the foreskin to its original location).

Did you read the article?

Clearly I said "what the billboard said." Not what the article said
It's a short message, go have a read

I find it amusing atheists are using a being that does not exist (Santa) to promote not going to church to worship another being that does not exist.

Yeah, but it's done tongue in cheek.

The athiests know that NEITHER being exist.

This post in question:

But to suggest Christians are sinners for celebrating christmas

You base this on what, educated guess, something you read, logic and reason?

Um excuse me. The Bible forbids pagan worship.

Some Christians do not celebrate Christmas for this reason.

You asked what he based it on. I answered for you.

This is answering your question, not preaching to you.

You telling Christians they are sinners for celebrating Christmas is preaching.
You are telling them it's wrong

You are speaking your message at others, second hand though it maybe

It was a statement

Please understand the bible forbids pagan worship, Christians can celebrate Christmas without worshiping it
You are preaching you are saying what's right and wrong for others

This started when a poster said the idea of hope and redemption, that we can get a better outcome than we deserve is negative, and they believe there is no such thing as redemption, that you can never be redeemed ever, and that's more positive.

BTW -- I believe this (below) is the "started" he is referring to and went all drama on. I then responded to a few consecutive posts before ending my involvement.

originally posted by: Raggedyman ---- "I am a Christian because I wasn't good and I believe what I deserve isn't good. My promised reward is forgiveness and I know I don't deserve that."

Me ---- "Do you even realize how negative that sounds? But, Hey! If it works for you."

well maybe i will look into it, i just believe some things are worth hating

Holding hurt & hate in your body & mind affects you. It's a negative energy.

But a god belief is not required to forgive or release that negative energy from your body & mind.

You can take those negative feelings, tie them to a helium balloon and let it float out and away from your body & mind. It can be done literally by physical action or in a mental visual.

From American Atheists

BILLBOARD CAMPAIGN.

Billboards American Atheists launches billboard campaigns throughout the year to encourage closeted atheists to "come out" and celebrate their atheism. We critique religious bigotry, the use of religion as a weapon by politicians, and the hypocrisy of all religions. These billboards not only encourage atheists to stand up and be heard, but also raise the profile of atheists and atheism in the media and public discourse.

The billboard campaign began in 2010. There have been Jewish and Muslim billboards as well.

Aw shucks. You caught me.

I, an atheist who doesn't believe in sin, is telling you to stop celebrating Christmas because the Bible, the book I do not believe in, says so. I am worried for your soul.

P.S. - The billboard is a lie. Please do go to church. It's good for your soul.

alien, do you feel as if you have won, good

Though that's not the point

Christians can celebrate Christmas, it's about the word worship.

Don't put your views of your legalism on others

legalism would say no I get that

The bible doesn't condemn Christians enjoying pagan festivals, it's about worshiping idols

Why did you even bring it up in the first place

I don't think that's the way they see it. It does not matter what you do on Earth (flesh things).

It's a spiritual warfare. It's not what you did as human.
Sorry Alien

Are you a christian or not, you sure have lots of comments to make about what Christians should and should not believe considering you are an an atheist

Dont you think before posting
