No, not 'whatever'. Again, you blanked out probably on the first sentence because it does not fit your narrative. I even stated that not all want to impose Sharia law in my post.

However, the one that will is usually the one that is in control. In the ME, those who do not follow Sharia are most times simply killed. Look at the overseas press. DO you think there are no villages or complete cities that are wiped of the map because they do not adhere?

No, it's not ludicrous. Comparing Trump to Hitler is a legitimate comparison because the similarities do indeed exist.

I wasn't talking about the US's current situation. I was talking about how Trump's planned policies (wall building, Muslim identification, so on and so forth) are eerily similar to Hitler's. Obama has NOTHING to do with this, so why are you talking about him?

You are trying to compare building a wall to Hitler? Then Trump is not the only one that is Hitler. You would need to group the entire GOP field. Dems want them for votes so that side is silent.

Now, If Trump said that he was going to get rid of everyone in the country that was not like him, kill all of his enemies as soon as he gained power and kill anyone who is not Christian then i would agree with you. Easily. But he did not. So I think we can move on from the Hitler comparison.

Let's break down the statement though....

Why not build a wall? A point of entry into our country. In this day and age it is needed. This is not Hitler like. It would allow the US to make sure that people like the shooters in CA less chance of entry. I am not against immigration just do it legally.

This is a good link explaining it. He is stating that immigrants, especially those from hot spot countries of Islamic extremism need to be collected or tracked. If someones family has ties to known Islamic entities they should be scrutinized more than someone who does not. If we had that already the CA shooting may not have occurred.

Analogy time, boys & girls:

A group of bears leave the mountains and begin terrorizing a nearby town and stealing food. A wildlife manager announces his plan to capture the bears and return them to where they came from. OH MY! He is just like Hitler!
Or, if the human to animal comparison is offensive, any kind of animal invades a population of animals that it is not native to. It brings new diseases and a new way of life that completely destroys and distinguishes the existing environment, which is why it is prohibited.

Well, he's right. Hitler wasn't that sinister after all (at least not until he gained power).

There was nothing near the 3rd Reich before and only very few people anticipated the scope of insanity involved. Nowadays things are a tad different.
That's why I would state Trump is the bigger and nastier demagogue, he is fully aware and doesn't give a sh!t about the consequences of his ongoing agitation.

Concern for any decision is appropriate. I agree with that. However, wanting to change something and wanting to restore something are 2 different things.

The current administration did change our country forever. We need to return to core values as people and that has not happened in the last few years. You can't call someone black or gay as it may be a hate crime but the DOJ wants to investigate the arrest of a boy who made a clock that was mistaken for a bomb. I mean, I think we know why the 'terrorists' in this country are not caught because of the PC police.
