Do cats really hate cucumbers?

OR are they just spastic animals?

I've yet to try this... no cucumbers in the house lately lol

But if anyone would like to try and confirm this for me... Well... yeah you're as bored as I am

No.

Notice how allmost all the cats in the videos are eating. This provides an opportunity for the owner to place the cucumber without he cat noticing it.

I am pretty sure that what you see is just the reaction to an object the cat did not expect to be there. And it just happens to be a video with a cucumber that went viral.

I have a cat purse I use to scare mine I peep it over the sofa and he gets all scaredy cat.

I saw it and had to have it darling I knew I could torment my evil little monster with this plus I keep my magic herbs in also.

That was my first thought. I think copperheads are the ones that smell of cucumbers?

Edit, I understand that copperheads aren't everywhere. Copperheads should be afraid of cats though because, they are everywhere.

Id say it's something having to do with the cats not being PC enough.

Cats don't like their own pooh.

What if it scares them because they think it's a giant turd that they forgot to bury?

From the cat's point of view, it's like "Nom, nom, nom... *glances back* Oh Holy Crap!!! Did I just drop a massive turd?"

Then they run away to a private place to inspect the damage...

I had the very same thought that they were just suprised by a new object after eating. Our cat is not scared of a humble cucumber. Was a funny clip to watch tho, gotta love cat movies.

If I was hunched over eating and then turned to see a cucumber inches from my exposed behind, I would freak out too.

We need some test videos here people!!
