Jury reaches verdict in Colorado theater shooting trial of James Holmes

So, in a few short hours we will finally have an idea what will become of James Holmes. I, for one, hope the jury doesn't go with the insanity copout. The amount of premeditation put into this doesn't scream insanity to me.

Good early find,

i think this thread may explode when it gets to 6:15pm

personally, i think they will say, lone gunman, fanatic, loner etc.

and ignore the missing memory, 2nd gunman, no one actually saw him, etc,

i think this will annoy me! not the truth, but the truth that they want to sell.......

It may well go the insanity route. They've got him all doped up now, let him in court with that orange hair and all.

He also always has a crazy look on his face that might make some people feel bad for him.

Anybody have any insight into the way juries in Colorado tend to rule?

24-year old neuroscience doctoral candidate, James Holmes,
a young man with several links to the U.S. government research Salk Institute
involved in neurologically enhancing soldiers’ abilities on the battlefield, and with
connections to DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency), the central
research and development organization for the United States Department of Defense.

Nothing to see here folks, move along

Don't see why they need 2 hours to prep a story for an insanity plea. Especially when the Chattanooga shooting just broke MSM around the same time.

The case could be made that all of the pressure associated with all of that at such a young age is what brought him to a breaking point.

You sir........ should have been on that Jury,

I bet they won't mention a word of that, which just shows, how messed up the justice system is...

of course we could all be shocked as the jury say "Not Guilty, as he was under a mind control drug administered by his handler, who works for ***INSERT USA AGENCY HERE*** "

yea..... me thinks not.

Really....?

Even still, that would certainly cast an unwanted light in certain dark corners of govt. but I would agree his Looney Toon behavior and appearance could likely be tied to those affiliations.

GUILTY

Gunman James Holmes was found guilty in the Aurora theater shooting that left 12 people dead and dozens more injured, putting the death penalty option at the center of the courtroom.

The jury began delivering their verdict at 4:15 p.m. Thursday. Holmes was found guilty in the following counts for first-degree murder in the deaths of Jonathan Blunk, Alexander J. Boik, Jesse Childress, Gordon Cowden, John Larimer, Jesscia Ghawi, Matt McQuinn, Micayla Medek, Veronica Moser-Sullivan, Alex Sullivan, Alexander Teves, Rebecca Wingo.

Sad thing is... This happened in 2012 and they're JUST NOW finding him guilty!

Mr. Holmes will go down in history with all the other stange events that have plagued our nation.

Another never ending conspiracy put on a shelf under the the label "some day we will find an answer" right next to 9/11.

God speed.
