I make no claims nor am I completely sold on it as of yet.

But it's still one hell of an idea if it does what it is meant to do.

GoodGopher.com

How it works:

GoodGopher crawls the internet for human knowledge.

Sites with ties to globalist corporations or Big Governments are banned. If they sneak through, they get filtered out with the help of users.

This causes more honest, independent sites to rise to the top of the search results:

Independent activists, journalists, scientists and bloggers.
Independent Media websites.
Sites that question the status quo instead of parroting it.
Genuine non-profits that work for humanity, not corporate interests.
Alternative science websites that can help move humanity forward.
Sites promoting liberty, crypto-currency and more.

GoodGopher also welcomes international news publishers located outside the USA, many of which tend to have far higher journalistic integrity than the corporate-influenced mainstream media in the USA.

www.goodgopher.com...

Give it a shot and make sure to give it a chance before dismissal as many will most likely be prepared to do. And BTW...The logo is a squirrel...how can that be any kind of wrong?

Have fun!

Jude

Sometimes a "anti-propaganda" source is pushed by an agenda.

So I searched for the KGB's Operation Infektion on this allegedly neutral search engine.

Guess what? No results. All traces of it removed.

I call this search engine a Bad Idea.

It's a start, and about damn time too.

After a bit of research I think that I will list my web site with them. Getting Google to pick me up was a nightmare.

Also: although New York Times entries have been removed from the search engine, the entries from Pravda.ru (a known anti-american, pro-russian propaganda source) were kept.

I smell political polarisation.

Sorry OP.

So...what it comes down to as far as search engines are who's agenda best fits the person that is using them.

So... It filters, too?

And you think that "good filtering" is in any way better than "bad filtering"? Why?
And is there a list of those sites which are banned? Not because I want to visit them, but I like to know what I am not to know.

Sorry, but I dislike filtering. Be it google or goodgopher.

One search should not a conclusion make. And is it a bad idea or just not ready?

The BETA term is used for a reason. But we are all free to either give it time or dismiss immediately.

I'll give it time.

Thanks,

Jude

So in other words, it is a Kremlin approved search engine for the peasants.

One search should not a conclusion make.

I am at a dozen searches now. Still seeing a bias in the choices of which entries are removed

And is it a bad idea or just not ready?

The two are not mutually exclusive. Besides, in the future, what better convenient excuses for the omission of information than "oh, sorry you didn't hear about that information, it's just that this part of the search engine is under construction! "

fail to see the point of this. anyone who is in the target audience of this engine already possesses a high tech bioelectric search filter called a brain, which is already programmed to the person's exact perspective and reprogrammable in real-time in response to new information.

I have a torrid relationship with squirrels, they take a bite outa my tomatoes, I curse and scream and run for my rifle and game cookbook.

Thanks for the post, not sure it effects me as I pay utter disregard to the top billed search engine results to my queries anyway as we all know theyre just hooks half the time.

WAIT...you say they use a squirrel for Good Gopher .com? Gophers are gonna get pissed, maybe the squirrel identifies as a gopher.

Yup, still working with it. VERY Beta stage.

But then so was windows, firefox, chrome, any and all games, cars, new tech gadgets...everything.

And as with anything else, a wait and see approach is always the way IMO.

Actually, I think that the logo is not a squirrel, but a ... GOPHER!

Squirrels have bushy tails. It's a gopher.

I searched fluoride research and all that came up was from fluoridealert. A site that gets paid to spread fear and lies. No thanks. I stick with Google and do my own research.

The URL submit doesn't work.

I must be submitting propaganda.
