Bro, I drive a Prius...I'm pretty sure at this point.

My Goodness, now I am really confused. I thought I read that even though you are Army, you are straight, married and have a daughter and current events have not swayed your sexual preference. Now you drive a Prius? I guess I'm just too old and unhip to know what some of the words you are using may mean in the context of this conversation. It doesn't matter though, I still want only good things to come your way.

Lol. I have a few hipster friends, including a conservative or two, who like to sit in coffee shops drinking overpriced coffee and coding on their macbooks. As far as I know (and their wives and girlfriends I'd assume), they're all straight.

Me, I prefer to write my code at my desk, surrounded by monster cans and an ashtray brimming with cigarette butts.

it was just a jab. But then after I read the "prius" comment, I kind of felt bad about it.

Just kidding, I don't fear gay marriage either. It has not affected me at all.

(thought I am building a gay marriage reconciliation retreat in the mountains.) Oh and pushing for legislation that ending a gay marriage require a "reconciliation retreat" in order to be valid. (it's the American way)

Haven't been drunk since I was 19...

That was 11 years ago.

I don't hesitate for a second to say I agree.

There's a handful of conservative prototypes that I'd like to see cloned. Projectvxns is one of those.

I have found a Granfalloon, the folks who have posted in this thread.

If some of you aren't familiar with a Granfalloon, Bokononism or Kurt Vonnegut (well shame on you for starters) a Granfalloon is a proud and meaningless association of human beings based on a shared characteristic.

In this case it would be the shared characteristic of an open mind and a sense of humor.

If you wish to study a granfalloon, just remove the skin of a toy balloon.

Maybe I don't need another drink today.

Cheers!!

Hear! Hear!

Oh, and my straight marriage is still intact! In fact, we're growing closer... Coincidence? Or could it be that gay marriage is the cause?

Could be the flowers, candy, sweet new shoes, and awesome dinner that you two had the other night.

That, or gay marriage.

I don't get your post? Some kind of half-a$$ed homophobic jab at gay people?

Um, I think you are misinterpreting the OP. He is stating that NOTHING has changed since the SCOTUS ruling when it comes to his marriage in response to the Ultra-Conservatives and Fundies claiming that same sex marriage diminished theirs. It was all tongue-in-cheek.

Dude I just went to the store to blow my last $10 on some smokes and a couple drinks..
Some guy had coupons for $1 packs of cigs... I came back with extra beer, extra cigs, and $5...

I love gay marriage!

Lol.
I feel so good right now.

Even without the coupon you could get both?! In Canada $10 gets you one or the other with less than 50 cents change.
