Is it still merciless if one is given a choice and every opportunity to avoid hell?

All other holy books paint their god as good and merciful as well, does that mean they're right as well? If not, what puts the bible a step above the rest?

where did spock go when he died? in the movies, i mean. because he didnt worship or recognize a deity or adhere to any spiritual philosophy. so what happened to his soul? where does someone like that go after death?

Is it really about making yourself to believe as opposed to allowing yourself to believe .We probably al believed in a tooth fairy or some other nonsense at one point or another . Did we make ourselves believe other wise or did we allow ourselves to choose . ??
