The night air was cold, but undeterred, Sporky flew on, through the wind and the rain.
Gordi scanned right and left, looking for his shedmates. They had been away for so long now, the shed was cold and lonely without them.
Sporky dived deep into the valleys, soared into the peaks, drifted over the coastlands, yet there was still no sign, no clue as to the whereabouts of the shed family.
The sun began to rise on the eastern horizon, and the companions were tiring, so Gordi guided Sporky down to an isolated "corrie", a sheltered cleft in the rocky escarpment below, and they landed to make camp.

It never fails to amaze me how many amazing souls we have in here. So many awesome people, warm and gentle, wild and crazy and always so caring and loving. We are so lucky to have found each other. Wish our lurkers would jump in.

My husband is quiet like that too. I'll be coming out of a room and almost fall over his wheelchair and my heart starts racing like I met up with a burglar or something. Even when he comes up the hallway stairs after being out and with a prosthetic leg, he is so quiet. LOL
