Have you ever shot someone? I haven't but came close once.. the guy came at me with a knife. My adrenaline was flowing like you couldn't imagine... unless someone was coming at you with a knife.

Anyway I was numb for hours. Darts? wouldn't even feel them.. why pull them out? especially because the wires would have probably already snapped by then.

It's hard to apply a rational mindset when watching a fight-or-flight video form the security of your home. It's just not the same.

Because he would be dragging the wires around the whole time!
Did you see Slager removing darts or wires?
If not then why don't we see wires dragging behind him when he.....

wait for it......

Goes back and picks up the Taser, then plants it next to Scott's recently murdered body???

Because the wires are tiny!

You would only see them if the light hit them the right way!

Haven't you ever seen a tazer?

its like 32 gauge wire !

What with all the stupid questions and interjections???

Man, I don't give a crap about the taser. The idiotic cop shot a scared citizen in the back dead. The cop should rot in jail.

Sooo if you had a gun, and I shot you with a tazer.. and still had the darts in you, you wouldn't shoot?

Darwin was right!

How about this stupid question that you haven't answered.

Why did Slager feel a need to tamper with evidence?
I am referring to him planting the Taser next to Walter Scott's body.

ETA: BTW, are you suggesting that Taser wires are engineered to break easily? Think about that one.

Probably because the wire is only 25' long and was was wrapped around Scott's foot, which would've dislodged the dart at some point as he ran away.

Where's the threat? An unarmed security guard has far worse encounters and more threat than this BS. So the taser fails and that's enough to shoot and kill Scott fleeing from 50 ft away? What about the ASP baton, pepper spray, old fashioned ass kicking??

So are the 32 gauge wires strong enough to pull out the barbed darts, or are they easily broken?

Good find. This story need instill reasonable doubt in only one member of the jury.

The cop's got a good chance to walk. Tell me you didn't pause and try to reason out what you see in those photos.

And ... a good defense attorney is gonna roll everything back to the start of the incident and ask, "Why did the guy bolt in the first place?"

If I lived in that town, I'd be boarding up my property or trying to sell it off before the riots start.

Well not engineered to break, but they do need to be as light as possible so as not to effect the trajectory of the darts.

You mean after he went and picked it up?

Guess what? When tazers are fired they also emit a mess of tiny little fibers that have serial numbers attached. They show the serial number of the tazer as well as the direction that the tazer was fired. It's hard to say for sure why he moved it ( probably training, CONTAINING THE THREAT, which they are trained to do)

“FRAUD VITIATES EVERYTHING” (FVE) is the legal principle that, once it has been shown shown that one party has lied or committed a deliberate misrepresentation, their whole case is thereby compromised and no longer defensible in...

37 Am Jur 2d, Section 8, states, “Fraud vitiates every transaction and all contracts. Indeed, the principle is often stated, in broad and sweeping language, that fraud destroys the validity of everything into which it enters, and that it vitiates the most solemn contracts, documents, and even judgments.”

The instant we see Slager carry a taser over to Scott's murdered body and drop it on the ground next to him, his act of fraud renders ALL statement's from him suspect. We can no longer trust ANY statements or comments made by him following the incident.

Additional acts of fraud committed by Slager include lying about administering life-saving first aid (we see in the video he clearly did not).

This was a police murder and attempt at a coverup, blown open by a bystander's cell phone video recording.

They why is it wrong for the officer to shoot?

remember... we are talking about this video! ( with tazer wires clearly shown)

Oh and please don't include skin color in your response

WTF does skin color have anything to do with it?

Shouldn't that cop be a better shot? Could he have not shot him in the leg? Wouldn't that have disabled him?

Why couldn't the cop have pulled out the barbs? It didn't look like the taser affect him, did it?

Just seems to me he was rather over the top in the use of force.

Hell, he wouldn't even need to do any of that, this was a pudgy 50-yr old man, just let him have his fantasy 50-yard dash for attempted freedom before collapsing on the ground blubbering and holding the stitch in his side. Then just walk over and slap the cuffs back on him. He already knew the guys name, he wasn't going far. He had a bench warrant for back child support and stopped for a broken tail light, hardly worth a vicious beat down or police chase.

It doesnt have to be an "unarmed black man" . People are upset because this is becoming more prevalent in the news as of the last few years . To the average , informed person the use of lethal force by a police officer has become one of the first options . Not their last as it should be. In several cases in the news of late , the officer(s) have had the person's car, good description and could have easily picked them up later. Seems as if the old joke saying goes "shoot first , question later". And couple this with the police force cannot shoot to wound , they shoot to stop at center mass.....SAD

So, did Scott have the taser in his foot and shot Slager in the arm with it...Mmm sounds about right.
