Now, if you hate the U.S. so much, please change your Avatar. David Mann is pure Americana, and the image you chose is some iconic American scenery. As an American Biker myself, I find this to be disrespectful. So, please pick some Canadian motorcycle art.

lol...David Mann is about Harley Davidson and the culture of freedom that surrounds it. That is something you should know.

Those traits are NOT solely American owned. In fact, these days those traits are so far removed from America that David Mann would bow his head in despair. And I DO include Canada in that.

BTW, what you find disrespectful doesn't really matter when it comes to my avatar. I don't like yours either so please change it as it offends me.

Jude11

I didn't say it offended me. I said it was disrespectful.

I'm really sorry you're offended by Voltron though. I know it can be a very controversial cartoon and all. Darn Japanese animation and their offensive imagery! /sarcasm

Meh...not offended, just throwing it back.

BTW, me: 68 shovel rigid frame with a small stretch and drag bars....needs a lot of paint and is too loud for my neighbors...

Not pretty but neither am I.
Plus the price was right as it seems many just want a newer ride for convenience and lack of mechanical skills these days.

You?

Love to talk bikes.

BTW...I have every single DM centerfold from ER. What to do with them? No idea but they're a piece of my heart.

He isn't alone in not wanting to cross the border, most people I know here in Canada feel the same about visiting the USA. I fear your government because it has definitely gotten out of control since 9/11. We Canadians are now required to produce passports to enter now, and can easily be detained for pretty much any reason they can cook up.

I love your Country and its people, your Constitution is one of the most well written documents I believe exists today. In Canada we have the Charter of Rights and Freedoms Act which is difficult to interpret for a majority of the population.

I Haven't visited the USA since 9/11 I miss it and regret things have changed so much because of Neocons.
We up here in Canada have our own problem now we call him Stephen Harper most people call him by other names, he has successfully striped Canada of its title of being referred to as a peacekeeping Nation and is much like George Bush in a lot of respects dismantling our Country bit by bit.Its a real shame all of it.

The sad but all to real truth Jude is that American government has become exactly what Americans despised while fighting tyrants and evil men during world war 2. We are no longer heading down the road to becoming that, we are that here and now and while things will get much worse on an authoritarian and totalitarian basis it will take much more for the American people to realize what our government has become.

Americans have a hard time with this idea because it is a terrible and inconvenient truth to have to recognize because if you admit you see it, how can you then justify inaction? You are forced to either action or inaction and to act is hard work and to not act is to admit cowardice and complacency.

History tells us without ambiguity what our government is currently, it's a facade, an illusion of legitimacy and it is no longer based on the principles outlined in the Constitution.

I know.

My point was that Canada was mentioned nowhere in the OP until some time after the other posters question. Only pointed it out because a few people have had "learn to read" attitudes about it. It was more for people and general, and not geared at you specifically. I replied to your post because it was the most recent about it at the time.

Have a good one!

Everything above "Before you go there..." was edited in later. You even replied to JDmOKI before the edit. Then after the edit you made a second reply to him saying, "In fact if you got past the OP title, the first line is: I am Canadian." I remember looking at the OP again after JDmOKI's initial post, and nothing about Canada was there. The OP was quoted by a poster before the edit. These were just my observations, which I only made public because I thought it was unfair for a few people to say things like "if you got past the OP title" to that user. It doesn't effect me one way or the other. I just wanted to clarify. I'm sure JDmOKI is capable of defending himself if necessary.

Of course if I'm just crazy, my apologies.

Cheers.

The mods will be mods and I find even though I take some of what has happened to my threads personally, it's usually technical reasons they make the decisions they do instead of something personal.

Take it with a grain of salt, many here, including, I'm sure...... Many mods appreciate your voice, opinion and contribution.

I have just started putting 99% of my threads in the rant section to begin with to save them the time =) At least it's better than the LOL bin!

1. Do you understand that the US is pushing for WW3 because it's broke and/or has a deep rooted historical need to dominate?

Yeah, of course. The US is made up of people....groups of people will have needs of that sort.

2. Do you see that the US wants to rule the Globe?
As any nation spreads it's influence, it sets it's goals further. Nations are always trying to expand that way and take over the world. Always have.

3. Do you see that your Govt. has turned against you and views you as the enemy?
I am not sure that is correct. I think the leaders of the country want the masses to be in line with the national goals of expansion and power. They want to discourage or repress any desires which are contrary to that collective goal.

4. Can you see any outcome to the Ukraine/Russia/Iran/Yemen/Iraq/Syrian/Libyan...ok, too many....that is actually a benefit to humanity?

To the humanity which lives within the US and is part of it, yes. America is concerned with the benefit to Americans.
Furthermore, the ideals they hold contain the notion that "in striving for the benefit of one, the whole is indirectly benefitted." Which indicates that as the US spreads it's influence, it reaps wealth and abundance, while the dominated territories benefit from knowledge and technology from the American culture.

Bonus question: According to a recent ATS poll, do you agree that the US is the greatest threat to World Peace?

Eh... I don't believe in world peace, myself. Don't think it is a reasonable dream, don't think it is possible. But I think the US is a major influence in world conflict, though not alone.

From a Gun-Toting Constitution-Abiding Pro-Free-Market-Capitalist Libertarian Patriot...

1.) In a way yes, however it's at the unspoken directive of the UK and the foreign powers (UN/NATO) that We The People have allowed to hijack our governmental branches and military might.

2.) No. The globe is already ruled by a leading group of elitist scum; The actions of which are simply just now beginning to be shown to the world and be put out into the limelight. That said, it's the US who is the military strong hand of this regime and the corporation funded Blackwater's and the like are mucking about behind the scenes to exploit instabilities and pave the way for the Islamic State's growth throughout the world.

3.) Yes, so long as you think like me, you are the enemy of the state. However, the military as individuals is on the side of the people and typically share the viewpoint that a foreign or domestic threat to the constitution is the enemy...not the people of America who enjoy it's declaration of Rights; That enemy, being of course the hijackers and their anti-unifcation, purposeful cultural division, and overall contempt for what America used to stand for while preaching political correctness under a coat of iberal propaganda. When the SHTF, sides will be chosen based on core values and those cannot be readily changed, so that's why the UN/NATO/TPTB will place America and it's people in a very vulnerable state beforehand to allow an invasive force (China/Russia/UN) to invade slowly by utilizing pre-built containment camps around the countries largest metroplexes to control the population as if it's for their own good and to protect them from some unseen/non-existant threat that they will convince them exists.

4.) All of those wars have been launched since Obama has taken power. He, his puppet masters, and TPTB/NATO/UN are purposefully overthrowing functioning governments and placing the regions in the power of Islamic Jihadist (Al-Qaeda, ISIS/IS, etc.) groups to build an Islamic Union that will unify (that is unifying) against Israel, Europe, and the West, all the while it's spewed over the MSM that it's all in our own nation's best interest to grow popular support (which we're also told exists, but doesn't.) That said, this game started a long time ago when Bush Sr. took office and did the exact same thing to set the stage for what's occurring today.

Bonus.) I see the greatest threat to World Peace as the long-standing and unrelenting Islamic hatred of Western culture and Jerusalem. Otherwise, it's NATO/UN/TPTB that have hi-jacked America as the militaristic occupancy of foreign countries on behalf of the aforementioned global agenda to launch a NWO and One World Government.

Anyone who thinks the poultry misinformation that's forcefed daily-direct through the MSM is a fool caught up in the greatest story ever foretold. This is all coming to fruition, it's been written for thousands of years, and it will come to pass with judgement and condemnation from on high for those who seek to mislead us. It may take another generation, but the world is far too close to WWIII right now for it to be too far off...wasn't it Einstein who said "WWIV will be fought with sticks and stones."?

Not the people's choice if you truly understand Canadians eh?

Then why don't the people of Canada stand up and do something about it?

Not trying yo start a 'border war" but you have to admit, Canada has it made, they are not a world power yet they don't have a lot to worry about because the most powerful country in the world would prevent anything from happening to our friends yo the North!
I live in Arizona so I meet a lot of Canadian "Snow Birds" that spend their winters here. None of the ones I talk to all the time has anything but praise for the United States!

The only thing that worries me, is the Socialist we have in the White House that would do anything to disarm the American Public!
Speaking of which, Canada isn't exactly a gun-friendly country, is this because if you disarm the public you have a nation of sheep? I think so!

If you think proximity entitles Canada to some notion that the US Government gives two #s about their well-being, I think you might want to visit South Texas where grenades into soccer bleachers, beheaded DEA agents, and cartel violence is the norm...don't go looking for proof from the MSM, you won't find it. Mum's the word when it comes to the insanity that is occurring along our Southern Border, but I was on business and walked out of a local grocery chain location in Laredo last year and heard the ratta-tat-chatter of automatic fire and a small explosion from within a mile...I immediately hopped in my car and drove 300 miles north to my home and told my boss that I'm not going back to Laredo...ever.

Where's the military support and intervention? Notta.

I would have to argue over this though

...American Police State that has emerged with absolutely no back push...

There is TONS of push back on the police state, it just isn't all that effective. Though I would agree that the majority aren't pushing back or even maybe not seeing it for what it is.

1) That is really just your opinion. I don't see any real WW3 push happening in the US. I see some alternative media claiming it is happen, but I don't see it in reality. The US is not broke, it may have debt but that in general is good thing, because it means the world is investing in the US and trusts that the US will pay back those investments.

2) Sure I would say the US wants to have some level of control of what happens in the world for its own benefit, but so does most other countries.

3) No. Not really. There has been problems of late with money in politics and politicians doing what the rich donors want over what the poor or middle class wants but I firmly believe these things can and will be changed with time.

4) I really don't understand that question. Whatever the outcome of things are, some party will most likely benefit from it.

In my current opinion:

1. I will agree. Although, i'm not sure who is in control of the US? (Ya'll know, the real shot-callers, 20 inch blades on the impalas)

2. No doubt. China and Russia come to mind as well.

3. Which makes me wonder who is really in control.

4. Money. "Benefit to humanity?" No.

Bonus: I think who ever is really calling the shots for the USA tries it's hardest for "us" to be "the threat to world peace".

Money, money, money. Oh, and money.

A resounding yes. We have been our government's enemy since FDR was president. As of now everyone is sitting back and letting this regime destroy itself.

Needless to say we're in for some rough times if war drafts are declared. Almost certainly antiwar protests will rise and our police might start full on war against the people.

I'm going to agree to disagree. No on all counts. Our leaders want the US to maintain as much power as possible in my opinion but some like Obama are doing things that make the US less powerful subjecting us to international law instead of US law and ignoring the constitution. Ignoring the constitution makes this country weak and just a powerful dictatorship. Overspending and over borrowing weakens this country a lot. The people voting for socialist leaders weakens this country with a smaller pie for everyone. They tend to vote for foolish leaders in my opinion who promise the world but never deliver. The world is becoming a more dangerous place because US power is diminishing and others are rushing in to fill the vacuum. In that respect, the US is making the world a more dangerous place because the US won't be around.

I agree there are elements within the US working on plans for martial law and some kind of dictatorship but it hasn't happened yet. If that happens, then yes, the US could be like a new Nazi Germany and a big threat to the world. I don't think we're there yet.
