Tsarnaev has been found guilty of (so far) the first 7 counts against him.

I'm at work right now, but I felt I should post this.

First 17 counts coming in as guilty right now.

This kid said he is jealous that his brother got to die a martyr. One part of me would like to see him get a death penalty, but part of me doesn't want to give it to him.

Edit: 21 guilty counts now.

No doubt at all. We can all be glad he was captured, but let's not forget how they went about capturing him.

All 30 counts are GUILTY!
Penalty phase begins next. I sure hope he gets the death penalty. Frankly, I do not want to end up having my taxes paying to feed this guy (not kid, he was 19, a legal adult, at the time of the bombings and subsequent murder and police chase).

It's up to Guilty for the first 23 out of 30 counts now.

Wonder if they sentence him to death or not. How old is this man again? Like 20? What a shame... needed better role models in life. His older brother may be watching from another realm, utterly disappointed in himself for convincing Tsarnaev to be a part of his plan

He's guilty.

Shoot him, hang him, electrocute him. Don't know, and at this point, don't care.

Let him meet his god.

He's done. He's no longer human, in my book.

To be clear, I personally know one of the victims that lost her leg in the blast. She and everyone who knows her will forever be suffering due to this mans decision to actively participate in this act.

I have no, none, nada, zip, zilch, zero compassion for this man.

Recommendations,

Last meal offered salt pork.
Firing squad by 70 virgins pulling the triggers.
Body fed to the fishes leaving no martyr tomb.

Really?

You feel sorry for this p.o.s.?

He made choices. He killed innocent children.

No mercy!

I say fill a pressure cooker bomb with pork products and detonate it two feet from him.

I hope he does not get the death penalty, the problem I have with the death penalty is that its such a easy way out really.

He should be sentenced to a life of hard labour, like spending the rest of his days shovelling coal in some dark cave somewhere until one day he is just to old to work any more then and only then should get get a bullet to the head.

Having a Islamic extremist go to the chair only makes a Martyr of him, it would turn him into a symbol.

No just have him do hard labour for the next 60 years then put a bullet in between his eyes one day and put him in a unmarked grave with out so much as a acknowledgement that he even continued to have any existence after today.

What a vengeful and merciless society we are.

"Do not be too eager to deal out death in judgement , for even the very wise cannot see all ends."
-J. R. R. Tokien.

Regardless of what he might have done, or what he was led to believe he was doing, we are not Gods and we cannot see every angle. It makes me sick that people would so belligerently call for death, especially those that don't even know anything but emotional impact of events.

Bombing the public is a joke?
Maybe you need some psychiatric help before you join him.

Wasted and ruined lives are always disheartening to see. I don't "feel sorry" for them, but the wasted potential and damage that has been done is saddening in general

The joke is how soon so many people forget the unanswered questions and conspiracy aspect surrounding that day, and to appease us all in exchange for no further answers, we shall kill a man in its stead.

That is the joke.
