HAL 9000 FOR PRESIDENT!

Only if it promises to shut off the life support for Congress.

The schematic for a President

I think we should all take a look at this and take the time out to read the article...

21st-century digital slaves, crowd sourcing their own ideal master...

Deny ignorance, my friends.

People are really suggesting Neal DeGrasse Tyson or the like? No thanks. We have enough corporate supporters. One thing we need to move away from.

Now if Rand had more of the idea with banks as Warren does, that would be closer to an ideal.

I'm a fan of not just a crowd sourced representative, but a crowd source governance.
get rid of the politician and use technology to get us all collaborating together on looking after ourselves.

I am not American , however if you want to get everyone on ATS to agree , nominate someone who promises to reveal the Truth about UFOs . Such a candidate would probably be found wanting in the driving dept though , or get shot during a robbery , plane crash , the list is endless .

Rick Grimes for president.

Michonne for VP.

Daryl for Dept. of Defense.

That's the type of people I want as representatives. No-one would EVER attack us again.

Until we can eliminate the department of education, I would say the secretary should be Carol.

Lol.

How about someone who is honest, trustworthy,
has integrity, doesn't make false promises, and
is a common man, instead of a career politician,
oh, and doesn't except campaign contributions.

Oh, thought of a few more things, is not the CEO,
or chairman of the board of a major corporation,
is not RICH by any standards, refuses to put out
political commercials, and has sworn, sincerely,
to defend The Constitution from all enemies,
foreign and domestic.

Well, I've thought more about this. To me the positions of the idea candidate matter little, I am equally comfortable with someone from the right as I am someone from the left. Instead these are the things I want:

1. I want someone who doesn't believe God talks to them and tells them what to do.
2. I want someone with a passion for politics.
3. I want someone that knows how to compromise and is pragmatic.
4. I want someone who doesn't call for the mass murder or deportation of a demographic.
5. I want someone without an ego, who cares more about meeting goals than the glory of reaching them.
6. I want someone who has a technological background. Not in using tech but in creating it.
7. I want someone with an education in engineering, science, mathematics, or computing.
8. I want someone who will stand up to the banks.
9. I want someone willing to favor small business over large.
10. I want someone who can make the hard choices that will guarantee them being a 1 term president, if those changes are beneficial 10-15 years in the future.
11. I want someone who is not a Clinton or Bush
12. I want someone who worked in the trenches and knows their field, not career management.
13. I want someone who knows what it's like to have lived for long periods of time in the bottom 1 or 2% income bracket.
14. I want someone who has the philosophy of everything in moderation, and applies that to political positions.

Let's create our own candidate for President of the United States.

I think the choice is obvious, unless you and Springer have abandoned your previous political aspirations.

SkepticOverlord and Springer for President

You should start making preparations to hit the campaign trail.
