I was healed of a disease that required constant medication multiple times a day to get through each day and from which there is no cure..

I have been christian for 2 and a half months and can quote the bible like it was written inside my soul..

Everyone here knows what I was.. and what I am now... that should be enough for anyone here to say well.. there is a chance this is true, so I will begin my own search..

if someone doesn't want to embark on a journey to find HIM, that is there business... but there is enough for someone to say.. it is possible she is NOT crazy... since she never has been before.. and she was healed of a disease.. and God knows there is no way she can quote the bible like that from herself..

so try it or not.. your choice.. no one forces.. God only wants those who want HIM..

Seriously, I didn't choose to be wrong about everything I ever believed... but this is where God said I am, after I said no matter what I will follow you.. just show me your truth, and no matter what I will follow...

He said I am found here, this is My truth..

That's still your choice.

Belief is NOT a choice.

I think that, at least in some cases, it is. It explains why fundamentalists are so desperate to have others believe as they do: they're not so convinced as they pretend to be and need the comfort of a herd going in the same direction. Of course, you could say that making a decision to believe isn't really belief at all. I do take your point, if that's the one you're making.

Its not insecurity, its love...

I tell people not because I "don't want to be alone" ... its because this is so awesome, so beautiful, so fulfilling...

I just want to share this beauty personally... if I had known all this long ago.. I would have been here long before! I just want to give people that opportunity..

it is love.. for the first time in my life I can honestly say I love everyone.. and it is love which makes me want to give people the opportunity I didn't have until now...

I would have been christian long ago if I would have known all this... just want others to have the chance I didn't have..

Everything looks so different through these eyes.. even my husband glows.. I cannot explain this, but the world is so beautiful! It used to be ugly, people used to be ugly.. now everything is so beautiful, and I am so filled with love and joy and peace! How could I not tell others this beauty which is the knowledge of God?

I would be selfish if I hid all this beauty from others!

I can say.. there is one God. There is one entity who has all knowledge within HIMSELF, not given, not learned, but one who carries/holds all knowledge within HIMSELF.

Anything which does not hold knowledge within HIMSELF without it being given or learned is less than God. God is in a class without classification - and none compares to HIM.

For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5

You can say there is one God but you can not prove it. I can say there's one Zork but I can not prove it. You also can not prove that Jesus ever lived. There is simply no contemporaneous documentation (ie. historical evidence) proving that he did. That simply leaves belief and you're welcome to yours. Please don't insist that it's fact, though, because it's not.

Please use your own words. If we want to read the Bible (I have), we know where to find it.

OK, let's examine your claim. You had a disease. You didn't state what it was (which is your right) but was it diagnosed by several medical doctors based on medical tests of some sort? What were those tests, if I may ask?

You say you were healed. I assume you mean by God. Did medical tests show no evidence that you have the disease now whereas medical tests previously showed that you had the disease? Is that the case or is it your claim that you are healed based solely on your lack of symptoms?

How do you know you were healed by God and not by Zork or simply are example of spontaneous remission (which does happen--ask your doctor)?

Chanting the cult mantra to me is no substitute for citing testable evidence to prove your claims. If I made the same claims about Zork would you accept it as fact? If not, why not?

its not cult mantra... I am not asking you to join a cult.. I am saying if you like, you can speak to God and HE answers.

How do you think I know the bible? Do you think I have a photographic memory? Seriously? If I did I wouldn't be poor...

When I see someone ask a question I hear the answer, yes.. a voice speaks to me...

One day.. I learned everything I heard, was actually IN the bible.. so I started googling the explanation that I heard, and then telling the people what something meant from the bible itself.. because the words I hear are found there in the bible..

Sometimes now I don't hear the words.. sometimes I just suddenly know a thing... but that was how it started.. I just learned that everything I hear is in the bible..

crazy, but true..

no cult involved.. I have yet to even attend a church...

You haven't answered my questions about whether you would take my word about Zork existing. You also haven't answered my question about your disease and healing. Please do so.

You've made many claims but none of them are backed by any testable evidence. I'm simply asking that you provide some more information. Is that too much to ask?

Yep. They made a choice to accept something on faith, without truly believing, believing that "that" would come later, I believe. Just like the guys who insist that being gay is a choice, because they have suppressed their own same sex attractions and called it "choice".

My disease was the result of failed back surgery..

when I first got hurt I had one back surgery, and then needed a second back surgery... when I had the second back surgery the doctor cut the nerve that went to my legs, and I was paralyzed from the waist down, and in a wheelchair..

suddenly one day, I was able to move my big toe.. it was actually something I did every single day, sat and tried to move my toe.. well two years in with the parallelization, and my toe actually moved one day..

was totally cool really.. I was so happy, and so were my doctors.. I did intensive physical therapy, did nothing else until I could walk again..

after I could walk again I had serious nerve damage in my legs though, and needed leg braces to walk, which was cool.. at least I was walking right?

But one day, the feeling which had returned into my legs changed, and I became hypersensitive to everything.. it was like suddenly I had WAY TOO MUCH feeling.. even noise became painful because of the vibration in noise, it was painful to have clothing touch my skin..and my legs literally felt like they were on fire.. like I was burning alive..

I had more than one specialist because of the surgeries, I had physical therapists, I had 2 orthopedic surgeons and 2 neurosurgeons because of all the spinal problems..plus of course my regular practitioner..I had MRI's out the ying yang and all manner of nerve conduction tests because of the paralysis and the return of feeling..

I was a money pot for all these doctors.. did you know in the first year alone I racked up over a million dollars in doctors bills? seriously, that stuff isn't cheap.. thank God for medical insurance at the time!

Anyway.. once all the feeling came back wrong.. they diagnosed me with CRPS Type 2 and sent me to the pain clinic doctors also, who did all manner of sympathetic blocks and fun things, I became a pin cushion..

I was diagnosed with CRPS Type 2 in June of 2000. I have gone to doctors of all kinds ever since, taken medicine daily ever since, and told by the doctors themselves that this was for life, there was nothing else they could do..I am too severe a case, and there is no cure for me..all they could do was give me as much relief for the pain as possible..

that was my disease.. I stopped taking all my medicine two months ago.. and have not had an ounce of pain at all, plus I can walk better.. although my legs are weak, I am working on getting them stronger..

used to be many times I couldn't even make it to the bathroom without help the pain was so severe.. if I was even a little bit late for my medicine then the pain would spiral out of control.. sometimes the pain would be so bad I would end up in the ER and they would give me IV dilaudid enough to bring the pain level back under control..

you learn in time how to deal with it in your mind... but now I am not just smiling through the pain, I am not in any pain.. I can dance! lol...

and now I don't need even one pill... crazy awesome!

I do understand your argument. I just offered a different take on it. Who knows which of us, if either, is correct.

I'm very sorry you had to go through all of that and very happy you're no longer suffering. However, you didn't answer part of my question. I asked if you had tests to determine that you no longer had the disease. In other words, did tests determine that the nerves or whatever, are now functioning normally?

The link you posted says this about CRPS, "Since there is no single laboratory test to diagnose CRPS, the physician must assess and document both subjective complaints (medical history) and, if present, objective findings (physical examination)." In other words, much of the diagnosis is based on your reports. Likewise, your claim that you were healed would be based on your reports. This explains why you didn't answer the part of my question regarding which tests you underwent that proved that you no longer had the disease because there were no medical tests to absolutely prove that you had it initially.

much of my diagnosis depended on nerve conduction testing, also they could see the physical changes in my legs (redness, swelling ect), plus the temperature of my legs changed with the CRPS,(ie: my legs were measurably colder than normal legs) plus they did bone density tests because there are bone density changes that go hand in hand with the CRPS.. all of those tests helped the doctors to determine CRPS.. not only what I said..

They never did a sleep study on me, but that is probably since I had every single sign and symptom of CRPS they just took my word on that portion of it.. But the sleep disturbances are real also, and many people do go through a sleep study to help determine their CRPS.. your body does not allow you to go into REM sleep when you have CRPS.. you start getting into your REM sleep, and you wake up, every single time..

Doctors don't go around handing out enough oxycontin, gabapentin and sleeping pills to kill a horse based on someone's word... and there are measurable tests that test for all the symptoms of CRPS.. CRPS stands for Complex Regional Pain Syndrome.. the complex is because it effects more than one part of your system..

Now.. I have not gone through all the re-testing yet.. but the changes which are evident is the coloration of my legs and the physical changes back to normal, the loss of all hypersensitivity, and the temperature of my legs is now normal.. they are not cold to the touch anymore..

so there are evident physical changes as well.. but I have not done any nerve conduction testing or had another bone density test.. although the bone density changes take time, more than simply two months I would imagine, that would probably be easier seen over a period of a year or two possibly.. but that is just my guess..

at current moment, I am just happy I don't have any need of medication anymore, and I can live free of pain!
My doctor is happy too..

Is it safe to assume from your lack of response to my reply that you agree that Satan has done nothing "evil"?

You are aware that "satan" is more an adjective than a entity?

And, pretending it is an entity, was never in the Garden of Eden?

Typical vanishing act theists result to when faced with questions that actually challenge their dogma.
