My issue with it from day 1; anyone that ever had any major deals with the fed should have no these guys and gals can't do anything with an ounce of horse sense.

It's not just obama's bill, the Democrats will be catching blame for this for probably 2 more election cycles... Doesn't matter if it's justified they let it be the center of the discussion for to long... And some of the gop's concern's coupled with some of obama's mistakes ( like your plan you can keep your plan) are going to make this an albatross around the necks of democrats.

Also remember, tptb are not going to suffer... John q public is screwed because of lack of leadership by democrats, and putting politics before the people by republicans.

Obama knew the ACA had no cost control measures but he still made his public pronouncement about how much it would save and that jazz. period!!!

I read somewhere they knew the ACA would not have passed had the truth regarding cost be known. They figured they could get it in place and then work on the cost control measures. Problem is the insurance companies are loving the profits so as usuall, we the people are getting screwed while the crony capitalist and our govt get all they wanted and more.

The Insurance Industry wrote Obama Care
The Insurance and Big Pharma Industry sit at the top of the Lobbying and Contributions totem pole.
Executive and Shareholder Pay is the number one concern not citizen healthcare.
No Cost Controls
It is another stealth bailout for Corporations at everyone else expense.
But lets blame the poor and middle class that have no political, monetary or lobbying power and are the ones that are being forced to pay for it. The Mega Corporations will not be paying for it since they are in bed with the government. They will force small business and the little citizens to pay for it.

If you supported Citizens United and Money backed Lobbying is Freedom of Speech, give yourself a pat on the back for bringing Obama Care to fruition.

Government does not own and control and write Obamacare. The Insurance and Healthcare Industry wrote it, own it, and profit from it and use the Big Government Stick to fork over my money.

My son broke his arm in gym class two years ago. The schools insurance said my insurance had to pay for it. My insurance fought it for two damn years. We were threatned with credit and courts. They finally paid.

Two damn years of harrasment.

I am a union worker, we don't have Obamacare, yet.

The point being,

Well, your union insurance plan probably meets or exceeds the minimum standards of the ACA. My insurance that expires in 5.5 hours was union set and voted on. Nothing changed with the ACA. Not even premiums.

Having lived in countries with socialized medicine, I can honestly say Obama-care doesn't even live in the same ball park. Obama-care is nothing more than a federally mandated extortion racket by the medical industrial complex. It did not aim to make healthcare universal, but force people to buy something they couldn't afford in the first place.

Obamacare did nothing to address the real problems with healthcare in this country: ridiculously sky high costs beyond the reach of most people, the influence of big pharma and the over-medication of America, and the problem with the declining health in this country. You didn't need an idiot Like Ted Cruz to point this out.

The Only reason it made it past congress is because congress if full of out of touch morons getting paid by lobbyists to pass it.
