Well its not every day. I have to have a real job too. But I am lucky to work often with all kinds of birds.
Here are a few more.
This is a family of Northern Saw-whet owls (
Aegolius acadicus). That's mom at the back. Saw-whets don't get any bigger than that. The kids are
all different ages because unlike many birds who's young all hatch on the same day, Saw-whets hatch relative to when the their eggs were each laid.
This is a baby Hawk Owl(
Surnia ulula).
Ok, maybe this isn't an owl. But she thinks she is.
