It's really not worth all of that.
Pointing them out would just give them the attention they want.
I just find myself picking these guys out more and more and it's getting old.
I don't know if there are more of them on the site or if I'm actually recognizing them for the first time.

To be fair, it's only a few.
The rest of the posters on the site are some of the better participants that the internet has to offer.

About all you can do is ignore them. Even if you bring facts to the table that refutes what they say, they just disappear and pop up in other threads, spouting the same BS.

Of course, that only helps up to a point.
Once we understand ourselves, we still have outside irritants that have nothing to do with us.

I am not sure. I read in a book that it is possible to stand in the middle of a battlefield where people are dying and still be totally at peace, which may or may not be true. I wrote in my thread "happy people disgust me" about the relative perception of the outer world.

It's obvious that there are several 'members' who are all focusing on the "ebola is no threat and anyone who thinks differently is a fool" meme. Not the standard ATS discussion but more of the generic web duds just repeating the same thing incessantly. Then the same group parrots it back and forth to each other. It's pretty ham fisted. It's like watching dumb and dumber go undercover at a mensa meeting.

I've noticed regular members avoiding these guys after a little while.

I really never gave much credence to the idea that the government actually puts people on these sites for disinformation but I'm beginning to see what people have been talking about. It's like these guys are posting out of one of those playbooks that telemarketers use. And they're all using the same book.

I've also noticed a consistency of the words stupid, idiot and similar amongst this group used repeatedly.
The normal posters on this site might use these terms on occasion but not to the degree I've seen lately.

This goes along with a widespread "anyone who thinks this is an idiot" type of statement made repeatedly between the posers

I wonder if there is a playbook on this stuff.

We could probably compile one just observing the threads posted over the last few weeks.
