Any that belong to Malaysian.

Right, and how many would that be?

I don't see why people are surprised that a plane that belonged to Malaysian is going to have a similar paint job as MH370. Or that a former Malaysian 777 is going to be its "twin". Go figure.

It is no surprise to me. I don't see why you are talking about "people" when I didn't even suggest that.

Could MH-17 be this plane?

This is a big possibility!

So what happened to the real MH-17? The aircraft that assuredly took off from Amsterdam with all the now dead people aboard? Maybe it landed somewhere, everyone aboard was killed, then their bodies loaded onto another plane which was then shot down over Ukraine by the CIA in such a way that the Separatists thought they were responsible ...... Er?

I sometimes wonder at people on this forum, I really do .....

I don't know, there's not a list out there of who has what stored. You would have to go through five or six sites, going by MSN to find them all and where they're stored. And I really don't feel like doing that much work.

I didn't say you, I was talking about in general. All that was said for awhile was "oh my god there's a twin to MH370 in Israel! FALSE FLAG!"

Then I don't see how my comment could have been a compliment.

Just curious, did you have that avatar for long?

So you think there have been more Malysian Airlines 777's with that paint job stored there?

Malaysia Airlines owned all of its 17 777-200ERs.

en.wikipedia.org...

Can anyone confirm this to be true?

Not yet but there are going to be soon. There may be more Malaysian planes parked there though. They're only just starting to retire 777s.

ETA: Apparently there's at least one more. Their 777 fleet shows 2 in storage.

So it isn't that strange at all that people would link this one to MH370? It's not like Malaysian 777's with the same paint job are flown over there to get dismantled every other day.

I don't know if this is true, but this is some info about the supposed plane in Tel Aviv, of which I also don't know if it's true,

www.planespotters.net... 9M-MRI Boeing 777-2H6(ER) Malaysia Airlines 2x RR Trent 892 C35Y247 20-10-1998 Leased from ALAFCO wfu 08-04-2013 std at LDE 04-10-2013 N105GT Boeing 777-2H6(ER) GA Telesis 2x RR Trent 892 21-10-2013 std at TLV 04-11-2013 March 26, 2014 – Christopher Bollyn

This says it was leased by Malaysia Airlines and therefore not owned.

There are two stored apparently.

And you don't get rid of the biggest money maker you have without a replacement for it. So it's not unusual at all. You get rid of the ones that are trouble for you, or for some reason don't burn fuel as well as the others, and you keep the ones hat make more money for you. In this case, 9M-MRI is stored as N105GT, which is the one in question. 9M-MRK is stored as well. Both were placed in storage at the same time. They were both built at almost the same time, so that makes sense.

Do you have a link?

Did it say it was stored in Tel Aviv?

At least 12 of the 17 were/are leased. Both of the stored aircraft show leased, and 10 of the remaining 13 are leased. They bought two of the 13 (9M-MRL and 9M-MRM), they also outright own 9M-MRA.

It didn't say where it was stored, just that it was stored. If you look further into it, it's showing scrapped on the certificate.

www.airfleets.net...

That breaks down their entire fleet.
