Kinda place one might find the Ark of The Covenant. You can bet Jordan would deny anything that might involve the Ark.
Come to think of it...wasn't the Ark used as a weapon?

Amazing, but sad at the same time... but then again I am not sure if I should not be happy that they took it instead of leaving it for Zahi Hawass.

I just hope the treasures gets into good hands, wether it be archeologists or some private men that takes care of them.

I wonder how they will be able to sell it and ship it out of Egypt and how much it is worth.


The selling and shipping out of things found causes the wrong people to be the ones who discover all of these things.

Why is it that usually it is the money hungry people who don't care about the history who find things, not the earnest historian who truly treasures the treasure?

...and why do you say that about Jordan? The ark is noted in Qu'ran and would be prized by most schools of Islam.
