Art is not dead except for those who are dead to it.

Art is nothing more than communication on an imaginative, original, level. Or on a level that is profound beyond your current frame of mind. If it isn't that way for you, then it doesn't mean it is dead entirely because there are many people and many different frames of mind, even from the same person, depending on the time of day.

Art is not dead, neither then should be the web's or the "deep web's" ability to shock. Again, if your brain is no longer receiving the signal it is likely because you have flooded it with too much extraneous material.

start typing random things after a url to find stuff on servers which can't be googled.

In other words, guess at a url that wouldn't pop up in a search engine for whatever reason.

I have been around the deep web myself, not something very smart of my part tbh, seen the silk road as well as other sites, nothing too scary, yet again never went too deep, most links have no description and you will never know what you will stumble upon

The dark web. Difficult subject.

First, you only want to go there with a lot of IT knowledge.
Second, you will realise very fast that ogrish (the nastier darker pre-version of liveleak) suddenly seems like a fluffy website. I thought i have seen most gruesome and darkest stuff before. i got corrected.

And this is not one of those 'trigger warnings' for special snowflakes. There is stuff out there...snuff movies is just the beginning.

Anyways i was searching other stuff, you know ATS material.

Problem is, when you find something: what to do with it? How to validate it? How to publish it, without fearing for your life?

For safety reasons you never want to cross boundaries between dark and interweb.

And one day you will find yourself, with a sledgehammer trashing your HD, pouring acid over the remaining pieces and burning and burying what s left of that.

While swearing to yourself to never ever go there again.

I found an interesting story on the web about government employees working together to target and violate citizens. Once you know some search terms you can find info but lots of the content gets deleted. Even conspiracy forums delete the information which makes me wonder who runs all these sites...

I think a lot of these conspiracy sites drum up the fear of men in black suits showing up to your door and intimidating people to recant their story is more fear mongering than how it actually goes.

The real way they will do it is just call you crazy. Send you off the psychiatric hospital if the doctor in charge of the ward isn't cooperating they'll bring in a specialist that will give them the diagnosis that they want.

Someone bold enough to expose peoples dirt is someone bold enough to create a bad situation for people trying to intimidate them.

I read on the deep web that 9/11 attackers was a conspiracy of NATO leaders, Turkish Intelligence, and Saudi royals. And Mossad.

It's SAD!! With the patriot act and the powers granted in that, they could abuse anti-terror laws and send NSL's to sites like these. Wiretapping without warrants, people going along with the corruption because it's their only source of income. Or they directly benefit from what is going on.

On a site like this where lots of folks from intelligence agencies and law enforcement post along with some entertainers it's really hard to look past the fact that the established entertainment acts could be abusing the working relationship with the FBI to give themselves a competitive advantage.

You'll have to make up your own mind on whether the agents are complicit or being manipulated.

SR1 was actually busted due to the owner being a blabbermouth, being grassed up by someone he pissed off, and by a script misconfiguration which enabled the FBI to perform an injection attack and get the servers real IPv4 address. It wasn't a weakness in the TOR routing system.

That said, TOR was developed by the US Navy originally, as a way for activists to transmit classified documents end to end over a public network in countries where information was restricted. Couple that with the fact that the CIA and NSA have been slowly and steadily working on compromising TOR routing nodes, and couple that with modern metadata analysis, yeah, TOR is no longer trustable as being anonymizing.

There was this guy who started taking about it. Well he just one day disappeared and no one knows what ever happened to him. I think he said he owned a futon store. Well one day the store was closed and he had disappeared. So don't go on the DW and don't talk about the DW either

Most of the web is the dark web and much of it is similar to the internets. Yes there are things there that are deemed illegal but really its nothing to be scared off. It gets a lot of smear from the msm..
