End of story. IMO
Any idiot knows what to expect when they fire on a police officer.
And the passengers death is on the driver.

Ok Randy,

So you're sitting down to dinner with wife and kids, and you hear a BOOM from the backyard, you run out to see a crashed car against a tree and suddenly police arrive, jump out of their cars and open fire aimlessly from multiple positions in the general direction of the car.

You take one to the arm, but one of your kids takes one to the chest and the other takes a headshot..... both killed...

You're A-OK with this right????

Seriously that's the level of insanity you just spouted in your post.

I've already said I don't really give a damn about the idiot who fired on an afficer. If they had opened fire on him at THAT time with a REASONABLE amount of rounds and not recklessly endangered the whole neighborhood.... FINE.

The police presumed him to be armed and dangerous. FINE. That's totally logical considering he was armed a few hours before and also stole a police car. So when he crashed the car, if he didn't IMMEDIATELY put his hands up and show he was unarmed, then I honestly can understand him getting shot with a few bullets.

I care that they fired nearly FOUR HUNDRED bullets at a car!! I care that they hit two of their own, and countless bullets were many YARDS off target! The car could have had a hostage in the back (or front).

They didn't even realize there was a passenger.

Look guy, I don't mind the hypotheticals k? As long as they
stick a lot closer to reality then what I've quoted above.
Police do not "Suddenly arrive " in the situation you've portrayed
here. They have these things called lights and sirens to alert
the public. That is at least those who aren't blind, deaf,
ignorant or just insane.

Just cause i hear sirens outside doesn't mean I think cops are about to erupt in a range training day ....

They missed and hit buildings and houses...What is ok about that?

What does that have to do with anything we're talking
about here? We aren't talking about a four in the morning
raid on a crack house. You should be sorry.

Ok so i guess by that logic when i hear lights and sirens i need to quickly put my family in bulletproof attire and herd them into the root cellar?..as its the signal for moronic gunfire

No no, the logical thing to do is to make sure you have
all your family members with cell phones and cameras
charged and ready. Lined up single file, at the appropriate
exit and send each out to their own designated area of
advantage. To catch all the action at every angle possible.
Because you tube pays!

This is actually so insane, it would be funny if not for the 'innocent' life lost.
I really don't think 'that many' cops are 'that stupid'.
I'm wondering if they didn't deliberately try to confuse the situation (Alright - Who killed the passenger?), by turning a one or two officer blunder into a "Go ahead, Coroner - You figure it out."

How about surprised??

Sirens are suppose to be a sound of safety, not of imminent danger.
No reason you need to protect your family from police cross fire of a situation your not involved in.

This is a great point

Who you going to pin the fatal shot on if there was 4 or 5 of them?

Can you make some sense out this please?

What is there to explain?
These men were not armed and a witness says they were surrendering
So where was the danger outside of what the cops thought could happen?
Where was the need to open fire on these men with no regard to what is around them??

Needs have got nothing to with it. Stick to the facts of life.
Sirens heard from blocks away coming closer and closer to your
residence. Now there for sure in your neighbor hood. Tires
screeching car slams tree outside. In your front yard the sound
is deafing from thirty cruiser sirens blarring in front of your drive
way?

And the whole family jumps up and runs outside to see what's
going dude?

Oh wait, are we still hypo?

Nothing hypo about this.
I am saying that citizens shouldn't have to worry about 377 shots getting fired in their general direction.
Regardless if they heard the sirens or heard the car crash.

Especially if the firing happened just because they thought he was armed

Well you keep right on arguing from your fantasy ideas
of what a perfect world should be in your mind only.
And I'll stand by my idea of what I know to be the
real world. Bet I live longer.

So what is fantasy about the cops not shooting unarmed men, which they didn't even know a second person was in there, almost 400 times?
If and the end of the day it is all about citizen and officer safety, then how safe were the citizens and officers in that situation.

So what is fantasy about the cops not shooting unarmed men,

It's not what happened and that makes it fantasy.
No truth found in it. Myth, conjecture, ill informed.
A lie, fiction. Are you with me ? Not based in reality.
