On Bengazi, and why you shouldn't care

I think no matter who is in office scandals will happen lies will be told and Americans will be kept in the dark as much as possible. Its getting to the point were no politician is looking out for the average joe anymore there all puppets. Looking to make a quick buck anywhere they can either selling guns to know terrorists or creating false flag attacks agianst there own people to fuel a war to make a few ppl very rich. It doesnt matter who does what were and why because every one of these criminals is pre selected to be in office based on how well they do what there told by the ruling elite. So we can scream Bengazi this 911 that fast and furious all we want but keep in mind it was never Bush or Obama or Hilldog who made any decisions. It was the puppet masters.

One can only wonder, why did Hitlary, Panetta, Petraeus, and Carter Ham all retire or resign a few months after Benghazi? Coincidence? Maybe, maybe not. Why did all of the wounded CIA agents at Benghazi need to sign non-disclosure agreements again, and they are not allowed to speak about it? Why didn't the white house release the email to congress? Why did the white house continue to blame a video after they knew the facts within 24 hours? Why did our military not even attempt to rescue them? Why does the white house refuse to cooperate if there is nothing to hide? Why has not even one killer been brought to justice? If there is nothing to hide then the republicans will look pretty stupid after the select committee hearings are completed and there is no criminal negligence found. In my opinion there is something very dark being covered up, it was more than just an attack on Benghazi. Was this because of an election, maybe, but I certainly hope they don't prove the administration was giving arms directly to our enemy Al Qaeda who then in turn killed four Americans with them, that would be treason. Like I said, one can only wonder.

Really, as reported on left leaning comedy show? It seems the admin will promote any mainstream source to go after Benghazi-depending on if how involved if so. IMO it's interest is more than that of just the GOP, GOP only "caring" for agenda reasons. Sure they may focus on it for distraction, dividing, but do they care? Just like when Clinton was in office, but yet their was focus on Lewinsky. The GOP who run the House, are probably in on it with the current admin anyway.

I think the whole thing was a CIA op, that would explain the CIA agents signing non disclosure papers. I still think there was a protest just like in 22 other countries, but I also think there was another group that attack our people in Benghazi. But I also view the zealots on the right just like the birthers, the hatred they have towards Obama or any democrat is what is fueling this. It didn't win them the last government election and I don't see it winning them the next election.

And the left leaning comedy show is different from right leaning fox news how? One states they are a news comedy show and the other is news entertainment.....

It wasn't a single attack. There is a pretty well established timeline, considering that quite a few people got away alive. There were two distinct attacks with some sporadic fighting during them. The initial attack at about 9:40pm was the one on the consulate, which is where Sean Smith and Ambassador Stevens died of smoke inhalation from the fire that was set. They were dead or dying within about 30 minutes. There was no hope of saving them. It took ~35 minutes for the CIA response team to recon the area and reach the burning building at the consulate - from the CIA compound 1km away - and they had left ~25 minutes after the attack started. They eventually left and returned with survivors to the CIA compound, and sporadic fighting continued en route and at the compound up until about 1am.

Get it through your head, Stevens and Smith could not have been saved by any military response - only potentially through increased security prior to the attack.

The second attack started a little after 5am, about ten minutes after reinforcements arrived from Benghazi airport, and the trip from the airport to the compound took about 40 minutes. The flight from Tripoli to Benghazi took 45 minutes, and they were sitting at the airport (logistics, planning, negotiations) for 3hrs and 15mins. There was no fighting between ~1am and ~5am. The assumption seemed to be that the attackers had stopped. It seems instead that they'd gathered arms and reinforcements during this 4 hour gap. This second attack was over in little more than 10 minutes, with mortar fire responsible for the deaths of the ex-USMC men, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods. The compound was evacuated shortly after with help from local forces.

OH MY GAWD alert the media!!!!! A political party wants to use a political scandal for political purposes to make the other party look bad! WHAT HAVE WE BECOME!!!

DUH! yeah the republicans want to make as much hay out of this as they can....Just like the Dems did to Watergate, it was just a stupid break in right? No one got killed no one but the opposite political party was harmed so why the big deal?

You are old enough to know that 9 times out of 10 its not the act that gets you in trouble its the dishonesty and cover up that gets you hung out to dry. Most people are forgiving if you fess up to things and most people would have looked at an Obama confession in this case as a positive thing. Problem is that would have required the Emperor to admit that he failed as a leader. He cant do that. He cant admit or accept responsibility for the failures of those below him. That is not leadership. Thats narcissism. Fess up admit that there were mistakes made that the situation could have been handled better and that changes are going to be made to make sure that it does not occur again.
Bam problem solved no scandal to feed your political opponents.

Watergate and Benghazi are not comparable. The failures of the Nixon administration did not lead to dead Americans (in that event), not true about Benghazi.

Watergate would probably best be compared to the IRS scandal. However, that one is made up too because the Democrats haven't figured out a way to spin it to "blame Bush". Give them time............

Bush took us into a shooting war with various terrorist organizations.
Obama simply put us in bed with the same organizations.

Neither man is what America needs as a President. A "hot head" that leads with his hands and was willing to send men off to die vs. a "coward" that cannot lead at all but is still willing to send men off to die.

Bush scandal years (responsibility span) = 1996-sometime in the future
Obama scandal years (responsibility span) = chirp chirp chirp
