This is Teagan Lenea after her recent heart surgery at Loma Linda
hospital in San Bernardino Ca.

I'm doing a write up for her, here on ATS to honor her un named
doctors who are calling her a miracle baby. Something many members
know I'm reluctant to do. But they're in a different league from all that.
And to simply ask for the positive energy of ATS and also your prayers from
the excellent members of this wonderful site. Her fantastic and phenomenal
doctors gave her hardly any chance at all of surviving the surgery.

And I admit that having met this little sweetheart, I've been hiding my
head in the sand, until now. Her condition is shared by only twelve other
children on the planet. So needless to say I've been in tremendous
fear for her. Now, I'm think'n this kid must be going to do something
really epic someday. As you can see by the pic, she really is do'in very
well. So I hope you all will send some positive thoughts her way. And
keep her going in this positive direction. As I'm certain they won't be
wasted on this little girl I know.

Bless your heart Teagan!

The doctors have described her condition far more
than they have actually named it. But I do know her
heart was so enlarged it was pressing on one lung
enough to interfere with her breathing. And they
found evidence that she survived a heart attack
at some point in her little life.

Just think where she would be without the dedication to their profession
her doctors have shown. From their start in college and from here into the
future. They themselves are part of the miracle. Enough can not be said.

I don't pray, but just damn near did.

A candle has been lit and positive energy is flowing from this member for a little girl, that just taught an old cynic a lesson.

Thanks for posting

Cody

ETA: Mrs C just saw this, she went away and is praying for this angel right now. We'll call our families in a bit and ask them to do the same.

A little more info just received.
That's spaghetti sauce around her mouth left over
from her first meal after surgery. And from what I've
been told, she devoured it all.

Thanks you guys, that's from the heart.

I have no idea why but that little snippet of info just made me laugh.

I have a smile as wide as a glaciers path on my face

What a wonderful way to start my day, when you see her please give her a massive hug from all of us.

That's one from myself, one from Cody and his family and one from all of ATS.
Too cool.

Many prayers sent her way!

Children are rather amazing. They survive things adults wouldn't and their spirit seems to never break when they face trials like this. They are still young enough to not truly understand the meaning of "You can't" and "You shouldn't". To them anything is possible and I think that line of thinking saves them more often that we would imagine.

She is beautiful and you can see a shining, fighting spirit in her eyes.

This put a smile on my face, so wide it almost hurts!
No better way to start my day.

She's such a lovely little thing and i hope she grows up to be healthy and happy for the rest of her life.
i'm not a very religious man but a candle will be lit for this little one's sake.
all of best wishes and thank you so much for posting this!
