funbox, you are darn good at this stuff. Like I said about JadeStar, if ATS didn't have you we'd have to invent you.

But the handle, please don't tell me that the vandal took the handle.

lol at the avatar. And that square little place you found where the handle went is something that Charles Fort would call a "damned thing".

As Phage knew, the line about the vandal came from bobby Dylan's Subterranean homesick blues, and I've spent minutes trying to find a real youtube rendition of it but all I keep finding are covers. And when I got back your new avatar was up and so it's all to waste.

I'm sorry. I don't recognize anything like a human leg. Even Arken would be suspicious....

something I knocked up for the bts avatar contest, its a giveway to whoever wants it, and a small guest appearance for the time being

a procession indeed , I wonder what he would think of the 'leg' if he was alive today

I don't think it would surprise him

If Charles Fort (his friends called him "Chuck") were alive today he'd be posting on ATS, probably on Jeep's anomalies thread, or he might even have his own forum.

there is certainly enough in his books to debate and research into , a forum would probably not be enough , more like a website akin to wiki , especially something that would make it easier to reference his material by date / category etc

I was going to look for a thread about Fort, found a few, went to one at random, and all I saw was that girl/boy avatar coming at me from about seven posts on the first page. Are you a Fortean by birth, or by choice? www.abovetopsecret.com...

As much as I squinted to see "something", I still see nothing. Sometimes a rock is just a rock.

That is really disturbing and it makes NASA a bunch of satanist freaks taunting the public. And that is most certainly a leg.

Well you know NASA always trying to get a leg up on the competition.I dont know why they would post legs that look like a rock.

Here is another angle. It's a rock.

Here is a pano I put together to show the proximity:

Always look for the unprocessed photos, NASA usually makes those images too dark, I don't know why.

Here's the original, as posted on Curiosity's site.

Looking at the top of this, whatever, there appears to be a "Handle" or a rod bent into a handle like attachment. You can see back ground threw so it looks like its attached in some manner. I don't know how a simple rock could do that.

Another neat thing in the photo, wispy thin clouds, too cool

That image, like the one with the statues and pipes among other bits and bobs smashed to pieces, is chock full of artifacts.

Not sure what's going on lately with NASA releasing these artifact ridden images...maybe they are finally coming clean and showing the images unsanitised...whatever the reason, i like it, a lot!
