You think the hundreds of billions made by Wall Street bankers from the massive fraudulent housing boom was legitimate business?

You think laundering drug money is legitimate business?

You think robbing pension plans is legitimate business?

You are sadly misinformed if you do.

The reality is if the system was reset, and these massive fortunes created through fraudulent business practices were erased, this would make things much better for those who actually earn their money through legitimate means.

Fraudulent business practices can be prevented by laws.

This has been done many times in the past.

Laws that govern business do in fact work.

Your whole side of the argument seems to want to claim that fraud should not be punishable by law, and that is nonsense.

Crimes should be punishable by law. There are already laws that take care of that.

Now if you want to discuss how they are enforced, that's an entirely different topic.

What many here are espousing is making it criminal to have wealth.

More laws create more loopholes that can be exploited. Do you know what one of the biggest claims of fraudulent business was? That people were tricked into signing ARMs. What kind of an idiot signs something like an ARM?

Whatever happened to buyer beware?

I think this is turned into the "ME" generation for real.

The ones who don't want to achieve anything in their own life because its "work" and "dedication to goals" -areas they appear to be lacking - simply want the the sweat off of other people's brows.

They are trying to legalize theft. Its insanity, and the height of lazy.

Nobody is saying it's criminal to have wealth.

According to you, it is now treason to have more than you.

beezzer
And I call it how I see it.

No, you re-word it as you see fit. You don't argue with the truth because you can't, so you change the truth to be something you can argue with.

Shame on you.

Actually you do come across as Beezer suggests.

Here is the quote where you back Beezzer after he made his claims that it would be wrong to put the rich on trial.

There is nothing about economics here. Most of you posts are personal attacks and personal opinions without any factual basis to back up your claims.

So now it is time for you to apologize.

Wow ,almost word for word what zombie said. And as I pointed out, I was commenting how spiritual zombie seemed to want to kill the rich.

You failed to find any example of me posting anything about the rich being allowed to get away with crimes.

NOW APOLOGISE.

Are you talking about the people who demanded $7 trillion for their own corrupt practices and then took much of that money to fill their own pockets?

We see this so often though.

We see this throughout the ages, actually.

I think there will always be some who will look to take what others have. They'll couch it in terms that would ease the process, but in the end, it is theft.

Or apologize.

So how are the one percent involved in robbing pension plans? Most of them are high skilled professionals, business owners etc.

The actual percentage in position to rip off pension and laundering drug money are very small. Most people in the one percent come by their money legitimately.

Ah, yes, Beezzer, avoid the topic... You're a fake, and I'm calling you out.

People with vasts amount of wealth and power, who gained this power through corrupt practices, brought the economy and the Unites States to its knees, and demanded a $7 trillion dollar ransom. They took that money and paid themselves bonuses. They use money and power to manipulate the system, to buy laws that benefit only them, they invest in news media to manipulate the public into supporting their greed addiction. They seek to take over the United States and turn it into "We the .000000000001%.

I'm suggesting a crime happened here. I'm calling it financial terrorism and a plot to take the government away from the people. To basically take over the United States.

I'm suggesting an investigation, trials, and if found guilty, a severe punishment.

My suggestion for punishment is to drain them off all their money, possibly prison, and if found guilty of treason, death penalty on the table.

So, you want a repeat of the French Revolution with you playing the part of Robespierre.

My suggestion for punishment is to drain them off all their money, possibly prison, and if found guilty of treason, death penalty on the table.

And you want to kill the rich after stealing their stuff.

Are you going to dust off the guillotine for this purpose?

The 1% is a problem.

If this were one of those sim games, where you control the sim-nation, and it evolved to a state of mass poverty and 1% of the population controlling everyone else, that game would be considered a fail. Too much unhappiness. Not enough balance.

They have tipped the scales too far. It's obvious to any reasonable person. This psychosis of greed may even destroy the world if it's allowed. I am convinced at this point that the "free market" championed by these mentally ill people is nothing more than an enabler to their addiction.

I'm reminded of a time I played monopoly with my little sister. I won that game so well-- but the winnings were so good, I didn't want to stop playing. My stacks of $500 bills so high that it went beyond the capacity of the bank, and we had to switch to paper and calculator. My little sister was so sad to lose and I had so much fun winning that I said, don't worry, just pay me what you can now, give me your railroads, and when you pass go, just give me the $200 for a few turns. I worked out a nice little debt system for her so she could still hang onto hope of winning... of course I knew she had no chance. Every lap around the board she only accrued more debt. She was not having fun, but I kept encouraging her. This mentality is exactly in control of the capitalist system. It's bad. It's a scam. There is no opportunity and they know it. They LIKE it that way.

Time for a massive change. I vote for a mass redistribution of wealth.

Bull. THIS was your OP. Since then, you've changed the narrative, but this is what you opened up with.

You want to get the 1%.

This is your opening post, is it not?

The only quote you have is "financial terrorism". Nice try. I want an investigation, Trials, Justice. I already said, don't put me on the jury, but I am passionate about the corruption, what I see as financial terrorism, and if we put Death Penalty on the table for truth givers like Edward SNowden, Julian Assange, and Bradley Manning.... I think a conspiracy to take over the Unites States Government, to buy it away from the people, and manipulate laws to grant themselves immunity.... That sounds treasonous, and yeah, I think Death Penalty is on the table... They can state their case and maybe it comes off the table, but their crimes had severe consequences on the entire nation, and the world.

It seems to me you've been chatting along a lot longer than the opening post... Plenty of opportunity to get to the meat of what I'm saying.

Quit mis-directing. We've had a chance to discuss this in detail, but you're still playing stupid.

And where did I say you wanted to kill the rich? No where. I just agreed with Beezer when I sugested you seemed to be headed to that ballpark.
