I said this already further up. No star for me then.

I kinda wish that WW3 would just happen. It would solve a lot of things. And besides, I want the apocalypse to begin.
I don't think you've really though through that statement, and if you have and you still want it to happen, you're a fool. I don't say that lightly, but no one in their right mind could really want death, destruction, and chaos on that kind of scale to occur. I don't even want the Apocalypse to happen and I have a firm faith in the Book of Revelation. There are too many people who will die for me to ever want that to occur.

Rule 1# in modern warfare.. If the Americans come out fighting with the gloves off .. expect a lot of Chinese hardware to be smouldering on the battlefield.. If you see where i am coming from.
This warfare has a name. TOTAL WAR. POW's die. Civilians are a target. Nuclear, Chemical, Biological agents are used, destruction of infrastructure, Cyber attacks, Economic attacks, subterfuge, 3rd parties....you see where i'm going...
It's not good for anyone.
(10). Foment wars and control the peace conferences so that neither of the combatants gains territory placing them further in debt and therefore into our power.

The U.S. Navy surface fleet must steer away from depending on defensive missiles and must move toward becoming more offensively lethal, says the admiral in charge of those ships.
“The surface force must greatly improve its offensive lethality,” says Vice Adm. Thomas Copeman, commander of the Naval Surface Force and U.S. Pacific Naval Surface Force.
“The Navy will not be able to fight its way into denied environments and maintain open sea lines of communication without the Surface Force being able to take the fight to the enemy in environments where air assets are not available or are unable to effectively or persistently operate,” Copeman says. The U.S won't do ***t. As per.
I agree with you.
I have a feeling that China has been biding it's time, they know that the economy in the west is failing and with theirs on the up (7.6% growth in 2013) the time may well be ripe for them to start making some strategic military moves.
The US can't afford to be deploying a military machine out to the Philippines right now.

No, I starred you, but felt I needed to reiterate. Sorry If I broke a rule. I don't think this can be said enough. There are too many people who somehow feel that completely crashing the system/apocalypse would be neat or something.

That is why we have stealth bombers and subs. Our subs would sink their ships before they got to the islands and anyone who made it through would be bombed to smithers. I will be one to say that we most definitely need faster anti-ship missiles and they have been working on it.
Ha, thanks for that. That guy makes me feel like a genius.

The end result of the end times are good, but there are seven years of pain and suffering in between. Even if I believe that I will be lifted out of the way, I know there are a lot of people who will be left here to endure the full measure of it. I don't and won't wish that on anyone. I wouldn't wish it on myself. There is a reason why it's called the "great and terrible" Day of the Lord. No matter how great, we should never forget that it will also be very, very terribly before all is said and done.

Isn't debt forgiveness great ? or more importantly, it goes like this, instead of gun under the table negotiations, one of the two parties quietly agreed that little island is not important enough for them to keep (The U.S.) so sacrificing in exchange for wiping away some debt to ones we owe (China) seems like a fair exchange , no one would suspect this would they ? and to even make the proposition more exciting China is allowed it's chance to prove it's power and overwhelming military might by announcing a restricted war ! since it's military has seen no real action in recent memory, what a way to build pride and nationalism at the expense of those who are your enemy but have to come to you to fund their war machine.
You just can't make this stuff up !
