The vacation.

Hello ladies and gentlemen and the rest,

How do you feel about Mrs. Michelle Obama staying in Hawaii while President Obama returned to Washington D.C.?

The story going around is that her birthday is fast approaching and she would rather remain in Hawaii.

I can’t say that I blame her but why did the girls go back to Washington with the president?
Why wouldn’t they stay with their mother on vacation?

I think it’s a bit odd. Your opinion?

President Barack Obama returned to Washington Saturday after two weeks of vacationing with his family in Hawaii. He left with daughters Sasha and Malia. Michelle stayed behind.

The White House did not say how much longer Michelle would stay in Hawaii or when she would rejoin her family in Washington.

Maybe Malia and Sasha have relationships here in the mainland?

Maybe the MRS. needs some time away?

Maybe Michelle is tired of the lies.

My guess would be the kids start school back this week, Obama needed to get back to his daily affairs and Michelle wanted some more downtime.

And indeed the school they are enrolled in started back today.....

I can't imagine why it wouldn't be. He has to run a country, and if he allowed his kids to skip school that would not be a good message. And married adults take vacations without each other sometimes...not really seeing anything unusual about this myself.

I just didn't know the president and first lady took separate vacations.

I agree with Lucidity, who cares? I know if I had a choice of going back to the cold and snow in DC, I would rather stay behind in paradise.

The girls have SCHOOL to return to.

The wifey is having some personal time.

Maybe she is having a private medical procedure.

Perhaps some of her friends/relatives are visiting.
