‘Children of God Will Die’: MSNBC Host Says Only ‘Phony Christians’ Oppose ObamaCare

MSNBC host Ed Schultz unleashed Saturday on Christians who oppose President Obama’s landmark healthcare law, branding them as “phony Christians” and saying the repeal of the law would certainly result in the death of innocent children.

Oh oh God the children are going to die!

Schultz, who hosts ‘The Ed Show” on weekends, said the new healthcare law “is the most moral thing this country has ever done” and hammered those who disagree.

Legiislating corporate products is 'moral'

Sorry Ed no it's not sounds pretty fascist to me.

This is good for America and I won’t let them lie,” Schultz said. “They’re phony Christians. Phony Christians when they say that they are Christian but then they want to take away from their next door neighbor. They don’t want to be their brother’s keeper.”

Being force to buy a corporate product, then turn around and denigrate those who disagree with that, and INSULT them calling them 'phony' and they want children to die ?

Seems to me the left uses the 'IF we don't pass this children will die' quite often, and it is rather despicable to see it used so often.

There you go ATS MSNBC's Ed Schultz a phony pundit for the phony administration as if they 'care' about anyone ,but their own agenda.

The pathetic health care of Obama covers some poor, but imposes huge costs to the middle level and higher group, money that will come directly out of their local economies and force lay offs in business and business close downs. Any time you raise the cost of basic necessities you Close Down Businesses and hurt the economy.

Here, medicare is covered for free in some provinces, in others you pay something like 60-80 a month. Free if you're on a fixed or low income.

And, its universal.

It doesnt attempt to be both a Government/People program and use the middle man, rich corporate private insurance, which is the insane US model.

They talk about Canadian healthcare costing too much. Well even in the 1980's the US Gov spent more per person, percentage wise than the Canadian Gov on their privatized medical and their government portions.
You guys need universal medical on par with the rest of the first world!

Medicare is being civilized as opposed to demons in training. The energies of Mom and Dad, have to go hand in hand in a perfect marriage, that is Equality and Freedom.

Why maintain cruelty, that costs far more, than the countries you think are socialist, and I've never been ashamed of democratic socialism, but yours costs so much more to be unbalanced and ruthless.

Dog eat dog, survival of the fittest is primitive lower mind, jungle boy regression. At a much higher cost, percentage wise.

And in the right winged politics, supposedly on the side of business and economy, it harms the economy and closes down the small businesses whenver anything that is essential, is higher cost.

And you get the happy happy joy joy of being the worst first world country with the least honor, for the inequality you shove in torturous fashion down your fellow citizens throat and YET are stupid enough to pay more for it.

Every state I have ever lived in had free health care already in place for low income residents, this includes legal and illegal residents. All Obamacare has done is hacked the middle class' health care options and lowered the standard of health care in the whole country. It's not only the polititians that are loco anymore, it the journalists and the MSM. Time will expose all.

Things like this just reinforce my appreciation of old age and the knowledge that I won't have to witness the rape of my country all that much longer.

I do, however, hope and pray that the dark clouds of the anti-religious inquisition and security/police state are defeated before they can take hold... or even those so embracing the anti-Christian concepts today may find themselves working the camp chimneys tomorrow.

In reality there is nothing socialist or conservative about this. Its done to harm the citizens and weaken their economy. Its assinine.

From a socialist point of view, this is not equal. Norway's medicare doesnt cost the middle class the rates yours does. And their overall taxes are the same, their sales tax higher, and they get the award nearly every year of having the highest standard of living in the world and more after tax dollars to support local businesses with, while necessities such as housing costs, energy costs, and food costs are controlled. Ideal economy system and good businesses as well, they flourish as well. You can spend your money supporting local weavers, spinners, craftsmen, and support local businesses.

From a right wing point of view, this is very harmful for free enterprise and the economy.

No one wins, not the left, nor the right. Just the slavers who want to bring us all to our knees. But you guys don't see it.

Don't use the Canadian System as the gold standard. I've known 5 people who waited so long for testing they died in the interim!! NEEDLESSLY!!! Seriously....a one year wait for a heart-cath? a 10 month wait for a liver ULTRASOUND???

Obama Care was totally unnecessary right out of the gate, all they had to do was add people to the rolls of the existing medicare program (80-20 coverage) and charge a slightly higher fee than they do senior citizens. There was absolutely no need to reinvent the wheel except to cater to the private sector insurance companies.

By law anyone who needs treatment is suppose to receive treatment.

And then.

There is nothing stopping people from buying it themselves what Obama care is all about is 'Giving' a corporate product financed off the backs of the middle class.

We're a 10000X better than the US, yet Norway's rocks! You guys have the worst system in the first world. I had major surgery 2 years ago, my father has had his gallbladder out, my mother is getting cataract surgery. No problems, minor waits but bumped up in all emergencies.

'Children of God die' die every day from abortion don't see Ed saying too much about that.

Yes by law hospitals have to make sure that a patient is stable before dumping them on skid row. This is happening in many cities here in the states. Would Jesus approve of this?
