Didn't I just say they're not dead?

Look at the deeds that were asked of these men by this so called God...

Moses slaughtered women and children.... Abraham was going to kill his own son until an angel stopped him...

Jacob was a warlord, who killed thousands on behalf of this God...

This so called God wants blood... he wants death and destruction...

Its just sad that most people can't see it...

It looks like you need to read those verses over and over again, because there is no differential made between two different Gods. He was only speaking of one God and was reminding them of what God told them.

Maybe these similar verses with additional ones will help you.

Mark 12:26-29

26 And as touching the dead, THAT THEY RISE: have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spake unto him, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?

27 He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err.

28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?

29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:

That's right. The God of the living is JESUS and God/Jesus are ONE.

Nope... I've read that passage literally hundreds of times...

Ask yourself... Who is the God of this world?

I can't show you if you can't see the obvious....

There is a God of the dead... There is a God of this world... And its not the Father of Jesus

The god of this world is Satan. Earth is Satan's domain and Heaven is God's. Human life in Satan's domain and Spiritual life in God's.

Alright if you want to call him satan...

Would the God of life demand his children to take life from his own?

Would the God of life demand we spill the blood of the innocent?

Would the God of life have his own son hung on a "stake" and suffocated?

C'mon man... I know you see it... You just chose to deny it because you've been taught otherwise...

The OT God is EVIL!

And there is no way to reconcile it

The Abraham/Isaac sacrifice thing was acted out prophecy.

The mountain where it happened is the location of the temple mount in Jerusalem.

As for the saving blood and how it all relates, I think Troubleshooter did a great job of it above.

I don't do Passover. My people did not come from Egypt. My people did not make a covenant at Sinai.

So the killing of Jesus has nothing to do with me. That's good news, thank you.

Your citation of Leviticus is binding on Torah observant Hebrews, not heathen gentiles in general.

I'm a heathen gentile. Thank you

the heathen gentile nt (new testament) is a fabrication from about 300 yrs after his murder.
. . .
if you carefully document what teachings you can of Christ and compare those to what saul makes up you will see for yourself in many/most places saul directly contradicts the teachings of Christ,

But if the heathen gentile nt is fabricated, where do the heathen gentiles find the teachings of Christ?

If that's what you believe, then I must have misunderstood your question. Because Jesus' blood affects everyone.

The Abraham/Isaac sacrifice thing was acted out prophecy.

The mountain where it happened is the location of the temple mount in Jerusalem.

Just because certain prophecy came through these people... it does not automatically mean the same god was responsible...

People don't realise the Father rarely intervenes in human affairs... but lower so called gods do...

Look at the story of Jesus in the wilderness... Satan takes him to the peak and tempts Jesus to throw himself down...

Jesus says no way man, im not that stupid...lol

I look for cohesion and you look for contrast.

I think it is the same Being seen through different eyes and circumstances.

Find the contrast and the truth comes through...

Does death not contrast life?

You only showed one pill - Passover (which has nothing to do with me)

Kindly direct me to the other pill.

Because Jesus' blood affects everyone.

How?
The only thing obvious is that he had human blood, and I have human blood.

Does death not contrast life?

Truth lies in the dynamic created from the tension of opposites.

Example...1
Q: are humans male or female?
A: the answer lies in the tension of both that creates the dynamic that is human..

Example...2
I have a dog who is a mate.
I have killed dogs.

Q: Which person is me?
A: Both are me given different circumstances.

I think what you see as contrast are just different aspects of the same Being acting in response to different circumstances and seen/recorded from the perspective of different people.

How did killing those dogs make you feel?

Q: Which person is me?
A: Both are me given different circumstances.

Which feeling did you prefer?

Both are your actions... So that's a mirror of what's it your heart...

but would you prefer the feeling of your dog snuggling with you... Or the feeling your had while, before, or after killing said Dogs...

It was not about how I felt but what was necessary at the time.

Love is not a feeling but an action that sometimes requires killing however bad it might feel.

The verses that you quoted in Isaiah and Psalm have to do with the Millennial period. There will be a period of 1,000 years where God will allow the Israelites . . .

Too bad that the pre-exile Judeans thought that Psalm 2 applied to them.
Too bad that the post-exile Jews thought that Isaiah applied to them.

Here's one you maybe can't move the marker on.

Haggai 2
Who is left among you who saw this house in its former glory? How do you see it now? Isn’t it in your eyes as nothing? 4 Yet now be strong, Zerubbabel,’ says Yahweh. ‘Be strong, Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest. Be strong, all you people of the land,’ says Yahweh, ‘and work, for I am with you,’ says Yahweh of Armies. 5 This is the word that I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt, and my Spirit lived among you. ‘Don’t be afraid.’ 6 For this is what Yahweh of Armies says: ‘Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, the earth, the sea, and the dry land; 7 and I will shake all nations. The precious things of all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory, says Yahweh of Armies. 8 The silver is mine, and the gold is mine,’ says Yahweh of Armies. 9 ‘The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former,’ says Yahweh of Armies; ‘and in this place will I give peace,’ says Yahweh of Armies.”

Zarubbabel's temple was torn down so that Herod's temple could get built. Where's the glory?
Herod's temple got wrecked in 70 AD

I just noticed. Yahweh of armies kind of likes gold and silver. What's up with temples anyway?
By definition, Idolatry is the worship of a deity thought to reside in a man made object.

So Yahweh of armies encourages idolatry.
