It's been a bad season in terms of astrophotography for me, too busy with other projects.
I've only taken out the camera twice this summer. I had planned several targets for the summer but things don't always go as you'd like.
It's looking a bit better for autumn and winter with less work so hopefully I can get back to our beloved hobby
I've ordered a new scope(first real telescope) which will allow me to take images of further objects.
Also planning on constructing a fixed telescope pier in the garden so I don't always have to go into the trouble of dragging out the mount and tripod.
Polar alignment will also be a lot easier and faster that way.
These are the pictures from this summer, first ones(Rho Ophiuchi region) were taken at the end of June and the milky way and Andromeda was taken 2
weeks ago
All taken with the 80-200mm f2.8 Nikkor and Nikon d610.
