That is totally insane. Can they not be arrested for that? I mean seriously, it doesn't do much for society when elected officials are calling for shooting citizens of their own country.

The gun debate is insane to me, i don't see the point of them (beyond military use and for hunting). However, that is a debate for Americans. However, if people are coming out with this type of sentiment then i do not see much hope for any negotiations. It is a completely insane comment. How do you respond to a mass shooting? Certainly not by calling for more deaths.

It is just sad.

Good luck trying to shoot people who have guns and know how to use them.

They have done NOTHING to stop this violence except make excuses

Why is it the NRA's job to stop mentally ill people from killing others?

Maybe the liberals who want to kill NRA members should refocus their attention to the inner city welfare folks and their illegal guns? I`m pretty sure that more murders are committed by liberal loving inner city illegal gun owners than are committed by NRA members.
Obviously they don`t care about people getting murdered they just want to use a tragedy to get their faces on the news and and act like they care so that they can get re elected.

The current gun laws already infringe on this right......WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS.....not the right to apply for a permit to conceal carry, but a right to bear ( carry) a firearm in anyway we deem necessary to insure the safety of Family, Friends, and Country. You cannot legistlate safety, this is an idiviual's responsiblity. Police sort out what happens after the fact, it is up to US to ensure the fact does not happen!

Yes...But they can not easily kill 28 people, mostly children and do it in less than 4 minutes...guns were invented for a reason. Ease of use, rapidity etc. are the exact utility and reasons that guns sell.

If everyone owned a gun for self defense...then this could have been stopped. Fails...

Adam Lanza's mother owned and trained with her guns...and she was the first to die...with her own gun.

We need to abandon the "ban all guns" rhetoric as well as the NRA rhetoric championing ZERO regulations.

We need to acknowledge that Mental Illness, PLUS the availability of guns resulted in the high numbers of children killed.

These are the guns Adam Lanza had with him.

Those threads tend to go on for (too many) pages because inevitably a self professed Republican will enter the thread and try to defend the indefensible, sparking a heated debate. So far I don't see any Liberals in here defending this tweet or tweeter. Its simply indefensible.

I knew there would be someone like you to point out that it is perfectly fine for a socialist politician to make blanket threats against a group he opposes, but it's not okay for someone like me to infer the same against them.
